We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"This is definitely a stable solution.""When you are working with Microsoft solutions, you will see that the integration with the operating system, and implementing some security features, are easier in IIS than when using another solution.""It's very easy to publish.""The solution is easy to use, easy to maintain and isn't too technical.""The most valuable feature of IIS is the database it provides.""All the features of Microsoft IIS are valuable.""IIS has a very simple and user-friendly interface, which helps a lot in effective and efficient management.""It is a lightweight web host that is easy to configure for simple webpages."

"We were able to scale out using multiple application and web servers balanced by hardware load balancers and Weblogic clustering.""The Oracle SOA Suite has many useful features, and different organizations may place different emphases on the importance of each feature. Certain features are particularly important to the organization, such as the ability to access databases and transform messages, as well as the use of proxy services to secure web services with usernames and passwords. These features can be critical for enabling effective integration and data exchange between systems and applications.""I would rate my experience with the initial setup an eight out of ten, where one is difficult, and ten is easy.""What I like best about Oracle SOA Suite is Oracle support. I also like the tool features, especially the integration feature.""The most valuable feature of the facility, as the partner link, is to try to use third-party services and logic in your own vehicle to orchestrate the information.""I found the adapters to be most useful.""In Oracle SOA Suite some applications are not able to use REST, but it can support both SOAP and REST. You're able to integrate quite a lot of systems, which may not be able to in other solutions. You can also use XML and JSON. It is a standardizing type of tool. It doesn't matter whether I'm using JSON or XML, it can convert them.""In case there is something that doesn't work out of the box, you have the flexibility to customize it."

"The most valuable feature is AppFabric's hosting solution, which is what we need for running workflows.""It is very usable and easy to understand. Antivirus and VPN are the main features being used now. It allows my clients to access the network from home, which was very crucial because of the pandemic.""The product's deployment phase was very easy."

Cons
"The cost is a bit too high.""In the next release, I would like to see better integration between the cloud environment and the on-premises environment.""IIS's memory management could be improved.""IIS needs to improve its security. Its support needs to be faster and clear. The tool's licensing could be cheaper as well.""This solution needs to be easier for cases where you want to have an IIS cluster.""In the next release, the tool should be more easily integrated and configured with other provisions. The pricing should also be made cheaper since it's very expensive now.""The platform's stability could be better.""IIS could improve the error logging. There are times we are not able to see the errors. More details would be helpful. Additionally, the configuring of the IIS should be allowed through coding instead of the classic view."

More IIS Cons →

"It's also not developer-friendly.""If the disk space expansion can be made more flexible, not requiring a database restart, it would be a major benefit.""The solution’s initial setup is complex and could be improved.""An important area that can be improved is the product's data monitoring. When we use the solution for interfacing or end-to-end data monitoring, we want to know exactly where the data is going and exactly where it is failing, or where there is an issue.""SOA, OSB, SOA Cloud Service.""The Maven integration in JDeveloper is very basic and might be enhanced to allow the proper use of Maven.""The technical support is good, we have premier support which costs extra.""I want to see easier integration connections with other cloud-based tools."

More Oracle SOA Suite Cons →

"The product is unable to connect with different cloud services.""Microsoft will stop supporting the product next year, and we can't run unsupported programs in our systems.""Its price and licensing policy can be improved. It could be a little cheaper. Licensing is sometimes confusing. There are so many different options. It is difficult to find out what to buy or what to choose for my necessity."

    Overview
Internet Information Services (IIS) provides a secure, easy-to-manage, modular and extensible platform for reliably hosting websites, services and applications. With IIS, you get choice and control without giving up reliability or security.

Oracle SOA Suite is a comprehensive, standards-based software suite to build, deploy and manage integration following the concepts of service-oriented architecture (SOA). The components of the suite benefit from consistent tooling, a single deployment and management model, end-to-end security and unified metadata management. Oracle SOA Suite helps businesses lower costs by allowing maximum re-use of existing IT investments and assets, regardless of the environment (OS, application server, etc.) they run in, or the technology they were built upon. Its easy-to-use, re-use focused, unified application development tooling and end-to-end lifecycle management support further reduces development and maintenance cost and complexity.

Windows Server AppFabric extends Windows Server to provide enhanced hosting, management, and caching capabilities for Web applications and middle-tier services. The AppFabric hosting features add service management extensions to Internet Information Services (IIS), Windows Process Activation Service (WAS), and the .NET Framework 4. This includes Hosting Services and Hosting Administration tools that make it easier to deploy, configure, and manage Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) based services. The AppFabric caching features add a distributed, in-memory object cache to Windows Server that makes it easier to scale out high-performance .NET applications, especially ASP.NET applications.
