We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Its community is its most valuable feature. Solving problems is easier on Apache because so many people know this product.""The solution's most valuable feature is reporting.""The best thing about Apache is that it is open-source, so implementing my platform on-premises is less expansive than other solutions.""It is scalable.""The control panel is very easy to navigate. It's similar to most hosting platforms, so it's user-friendly. Once you get used to it, managing your hosting becomes easy, too.""Apache Web Server is free of cost.""Most of the features I liked were related to the performance during peak hours.""Apache has proven to be incredibly reliable, and everything has operated smoothly without encountering any issues."

"Valuable features include connectors and BAM.""In Oracle SOA Suite some applications are not able to use REST, but it can support both SOAP and REST. You're able to integrate quite a lot of systems, which may not be able to in other solutions. You can also use XML and JSON. It is a standardizing type of tool. It doesn't matter whether I'm using JSON or XML, it can convert them.""The product provides transparency in finances.""The Oracle SOA Suite has many useful features, and different organizations may place different emphases on the importance of each feature. Certain features are particularly important to the organization, such as the ability to access databases and transform messages, as well as the use of proxy services to secure web services with usernames and passwords. These features can be critical for enabling effective integration and data exchange between systems and applications.""Valuable features include web service development and cloud connectivity.""Conceptually, how it integrates a lot of essential enterprise process components. That's the most valuable.""Provides connectivity between discrete systems and has availability.""The product allows you to visualize how a company is working currently by providing rich possibilities for analysis such as the audit trails and therefore shows where improvements might be valuable."

"The product's deployment phase was very easy.""The most valuable feature is AppFabric's hosting solution, which is what we need for running workflows.""It is very usable and easy to understand. Antivirus and VPN are the main features being used now. It allows my clients to access the network from home, which was very crucial because of the pandemic."

Cons
"Adding a reverse proxy to Apache Web Server would be a significant improvement.""By optimizing the infrastructure to allow the webserver to directly handle queries from memory—particularly by prioritizing the storage of queries in memory and processing them through the web server interface—I could potentially cut down the required instances from five hundred to two hundred.""Lacks integration with some cloud solutions.""The interface has room for improvement.""It would be great if technical support for Apache were available in Iran. It is a very important need.""There is a security-related problem that depends on the web server's configuration.""The product's initial setup process could be easier for users.""The GUI for the less experienced users needs some improvement. For some companies, it is hard to configure it if they have not had any experience."

More Apache Web Server Cons →

"I want to see easier integration connections with other cloud-based tools.""The deployment could be made easier by including add-ons like Hudson and Maven.""The product is not user-friendly.""An important area that can be improved is the product's data monitoring. When we use the solution for interfacing or end-to-end data monitoring, we want to know exactly where the data is going and exactly where it is failing, or where there is an issue.""They supply lots of documentation but finding what we need is challenging at times.""Decrease the number of internal resources which the product uses.""An area for improvement in Oracle SOA Suite is the cost. It could be lower.""Another area of improvement is performance. Because with multiple solutions connecting to the SOA platform, the performance of the SOA platform can be affected in time. So, that could be one area that could be improved with the SOA."

More Oracle SOA Suite Cons →

"Its price and licensing policy can be improved. It could be a little cheaper. Licensing is sometimes confusing. There are so many different options. It is difficult to find out what to buy or what to choose for my necessity.""The product is unable to connect with different cloud services.""Microsoft will stop supporting the product next year, and we can't run unsupported programs in our systems."

    Overview

The Apache HTTP Server Project was founded in 1995 by a group of webmasters, known as The Apache Group, with the aim of developing robust, richly-featured, freely-available and commercial-standard Web (HTTP) server source code. The result was Apache Web Server or Apache HTTP Server, which is an open-source public-domain web server.

This collaborative project has been enhanced ever since with contributions from the core development team and other volunteers situated all over the globe. Also, hundreds of users of this open-source web server have contributed code, ideas, and documentation. The project falls under The Apache Software Foundation, which manages many open-source projects.

Oracle SOA Suite is a comprehensive, standards-based software suite to build, deploy and manage integration following the concepts of service-oriented architecture (SOA). The components of the suite benefit from consistent tooling, a single deployment and management model, end-to-end security and unified metadata management. Oracle SOA Suite helps businesses lower costs by allowing maximum re-use of existing IT investments and assets, regardless of the environment (OS, application server, etc.) they run in, or the technology they were built upon. Its easy-to-use, re-use focused, unified application development tooling and end-to-end lifecycle management support further reduces development and maintenance cost and complexity.

Windows Server AppFabric extends Windows Server to provide enhanced hosting, management, and caching capabilities for Web applications and middle-tier services. The AppFabric hosting features add service management extensions to Internet Information Services (IIS), Windows Process Activation Service (WAS), and the .NET Framework 4. This includes Hosting Services and Hosting Administration tools that make it easier to deploy, configure, and manage Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) based services. The AppFabric caching features add a distributed, in-memory object cache to Windows Server that makes it easier to scale out high-performance .NET applications, especially ASP.NET applications.
