3Com H3C Switches Review

Has a lot of features and is easy to configure

What is most valuable?

We use more VLANs for every location for big data. We service the VLAN to check if the connection is working or not.

The hardware side is a very big advantage. We use it 24/7 and we haven't had any problems so far with the switches.

What needs improvement?

When we try to do configuration changes sometimes it malfunctions.

For how long have I used the solution?

We have been using these switches for the last 10 years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

It is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

It is easy to scale. We haven't had any issues so far.

How are customer service and technical support?

We haven't needed to contact support yet. We haven't had any issues that we needed support for.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We used Cisco but then we switched to HP. The main difference is the GUI. HP has a lot of features and is easy to configure.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is very easy. The features come with the GUI. It makes it easy for us to configure it. We deployed it by ourselves. We only needed two to four people for the configuration.

Once we have a plan we can configure it in one hour.

What other advice do I have?

I would rate it a ten out of ten. I would definitely recommend it. It has a lifetime warantee.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

On-premises
