High performance with low cost is very valuable as is the ability to have high quality calls on wireless phones using VOIP.

How has it helped my organization?

After completing the first project the company got many other WLAN implementation projects.

For how long have I used the solution?

I've used the Avaya WLAN Controller 8180 and WLAN Access Point 8120 for 2 years.

What was my experience with deployment of the solution?

No issues at all.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

No issues at all.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Signal frequency can be problematic, especially when compared to other brands such as Aruba, HP, and Cisco.

How are customer service and technical support?

Customer Service:

Very good service, 9/10.

Technical Support:

Very good service, 9/10.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

No this is the product we installed first and it is running smoothly.

How was the initial setup?

Very straight-forward as it is similar to Cisco's configuration.

What about the implementation team?

We implemented it ourselves for a hotel.

What was our ROI?

Good technical and service support and a warranty replacement service.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

No, this was the product we wanted from the first meeting.

What other advice do I have?

The product has good stability & deployment, and is easy to configure. Because of this, we can implement a wireless solution anywhere.
