Cisco Enterprise Network Functions Virtualization Review

A scalable platform for hosting our services, but technical support issues could be resolved more quickly

What is our primary use case?

Our primary use case is hosting services.

What is most valuable?

Cisco is in our portfolio, which is one of the reasons that we keep working with them.

What needs improvement?

This is a software solution, which is less stable than a hardware solution by definition.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been working with this Cisco product for two or three years.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Scalability is not a problem.

How are customer service and technical support?

We have been in touch with technical support and have found that sometimes, cases are prolonged. They are not always resolved in a timely manner.

What other advice do I have?

My advice for anyone who is implementing Cisco Enterprise NFV is to first have a good, solid design, prior to starting the implementation.

I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Hybrid Cloud
