What is most valuable?

The dashboard offers quick stats and alerts.

How has it helped my organization?

This product offers an easy way to manage Cisco firewall's advanced features such as IDS and Rules.

The portal takes very little time for IT pros to become familiar with it. It is a breeze to manage the firewalls.

What needs improvement?

  • There is no support yet for child-domains
  • Updates frequently fail and need to be installed manually using CLI
  • The knowledge base could use a little revamping

For how long have I used the solution?

We have been using this solution for over two years.

What was my experience with deployment of the solution?

The product runs on a downloadable VMware image that is not very difficult to set up.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I did not encounter any issues with stability.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

I did not encounter any issues with scalability.

How is customer service and technical support?

Customer Service:

It's Cisco. You call them and they fix it.

Technical Support:

I would give technical support a rating of 10/10.

Which solutions did we use previously?

We were using basic ASDM. We needed a more robust solution with granular configuration abilities.

How was the initial setup?

The installation was easy at beginning, but can get pretty deep quickly depending on the complexity of the network you are running.

What about the implementation team?

The vendor was Cloud Grid, and they were excellent.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We evaluated AlienVault.

What other advice do I have?

This is a very nice addition to the Cisco infrastructure.
