Nagios Network Analyzer Review

A great monitoring solution that's easy to manage and offers good stability

What is our primary use case?

We primarily use the solution for monitoring.

What is most valuable?

The solution offers very good system monitoring. It's easy to manage your network, as well as your hardware and software. It's really useful.

What needs improvement?

It's very hard to install materials. You need a lot of documentation. They should make it easier to install and configure the solution.

It would be ideal if the solution was open-source.

The solution should provide more materials to help with learning the system or troubleshooting issues.

For how long have I used the solution?

I've been using the solution for four to five years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The solution is stable.

How are customer service and technical support?

Technical support isn't very good. You can't find much help on the forums. You need to look things up by yourself online.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We did previously use a different solution. We ended up switching when we switched the environment.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is difficult.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Our licensing is paid on a monthly basis.

What other advice do I have?

For those considering implementing the solution, I'd advise that they should be careful with the configuration and installation of the system.

I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.
