This solution provides us with increased visibility when conducting IT deployments, e.g., all of our WAN upgrades.

It is very stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The scalability has some limitations and quirks to it. I would like to be able to upgrade rather than replace the whole thing.

How are customer service and technical support?

We have had a lot of good success with technical support.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We had a brand new technology, and there was no solution in existence.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup was straightforward. I didn't have to worry much about it. My engineer, sales engineer, and RSE did most of it.

What about the implementation team?

We worked directly with NETSCOUT for the deployment.

What was our ROI?

We have seen a lot of return on investment: 

  • We have been able to recover radios in the field. 
  • We know exactly what is going on. 
  • We cut down fines from the service commission. 

We have seen a measurable decrease in mean time to know.

We cut troubleshooting down by days, as we can now see the issues.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We evaluated NETSCOUT and CISCO.

What other advice do I have?

Talk to other users.
