Improvements to My Organization

I was a consultant mainly at Standard Bank, I worked for the supplier of the QPR Suite. It was used mainly for balanced scorecard to track organisation performance, but also for process mapping and monitoring as part of their Six Sigma move.

Room for Improvement

More recent experience might have been of more value, so I can't really comment.

Use of Solution

I've used it with the FactView add-on for eight months. Initially it was in a consulting role and I moved on to enterprise architect function when an opportunity came up.

Deployment Issues

From memory, no.

Stability Issues

No, once again that would have been quite a few versions back.

Scalability Issues

No issues encountered.

Customer Service and Technical Support

Customer Service:

We had great service directly from QPR.

Technical Support:

Same as customer service.

Initial Setup

Seemed straight-forward to me, but once again, a long time ago. FactView certainly was easy to use and integrate into databases.

No other options considered.

Other Advice

As with CRM, make sure that you already have a process in place on which you need to improve by using technology. Wherever possible, automate measurement on processes to feed into dashboards and scorecards.
