What is most valuable?
It is the best no-code platform and library of useful business applications we have found. We are expert developers in this space as well as users.
QuickBase allows you to easily import and use hundreds of common business apps from their library, or create custom apps without writing code.
You can deploy easy-to-use, secure, cloud-based, real-time database apps for your users in record time.
How has it helped my organization?
One of our QuickBase apps runs the core of our project-based services business.
It is an integrated CRM that provides:
- Project and time tracking
- A document repository
- An affordable, central, real-time system with custom-fit functionality
This solution does this and more, all-in-one. It rivals any available alternatives, at any level.
What needs improvement?
The user interface could be even easier, smarter, and more powerful. We've had an early look at QuickBase's new interface. It looks amazing and should come out in the next six months. That shouldn't delay anyone from adopting it now.
For how long have I used the solution?
We have used this solution for 13 years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
There have been no stability issues. There is very good uptime.
How are customer service and technical support?
Technical support is good. There is good online help with a knowledge base and user forum, as well as recorded and live webinars for learning.
If you want to learn QuickBase to build and administer applications yourself, you need to put in time to learn QuickBase.
QuickBase trouble-ticket support will help you with issues or questions with the tools, too, but they will not teach you QuickBase.
If you're looking for business solutions instead of do-it-yourself tools to learn, you can bypass the learning curve and get contract help from a QuickBase solution provider.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
QuickBase was our entry into centralized, digital business systems. We build QuickBase applications for client companies of all sizes that often replace manual processes or legacy systems.
How was the initial setup?
If you're going to do it yourself, you can get a 30-day free trial within minutes. You can download it and use any of the hundreds of pre-built applications in the library. You can be up and running with an app in less than an hour with common applications. QuickBase Sales will help.
If you want more help, or if your needs are more custom/complex, you should contact a QuickBase solutions provider like my company. We will help you on a per-project basis.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The per-user pricing is pretty standard and straightforward. It offers a lower cost than customizable versions of Salesforce, for instance.
There are two options:
- The range of $25/user/month, for a minimum of 20 users.
- A lower cost of $15/month for a plan for up to 10 users with just basic functionality.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We have looked at the competitors and continually monitor them. Some are lower cost with somewhat less functionality. Some specialize in specific types of applications. Caspio and TrackVia are examples.
QuickBase is the most comprehensive product and best-backed. It is not the cheapest, although it is very affordable.
What other advice do I have?
Talk with a QSP (QuickBase Solution Provider) or QuickBase Sales about your needs to make sure they're the right fit with this product.
Make sure you get on the right path to get the right solution in place for your organization.
You should find consultative help and not a hard sell. These are quality groups.
