I give the solution a nine out of ten. I suggest if a person wants to start using Workspace ONE, they should make use of the cloud instance instead of the on-premise instance. There is an on-premise instance available, but the cloud instance is a better option now. I advise them to make use of the cloud instance. This is because management-wise, there is no need to manage a server. For example, we don't need to buy a server, and we don't need to buy network switches, which are required for the on-premise. At the same time, I can advise setting up all the functionalities or whatever functionalities are available for the trial version. We need to check if the Workspace ONE integration includes Azure AD or other identity providers. A lot of applications are using these providers for authentication, such as Ping, Okta, and others. If the Workspace ONE integration doesn't include these providers, the company might have to find a different solution. Security projects should also be considered. Specifically, if the solution can integrate with local security solutions to secure mobile devices.

There are multiple features. It depends on the customer's use case, but for customers using VMware, we've seen that conditional-based authentication establishing a micro VPN channel to internal applications is most valuable. They know these are the only devices accessing their internal applications, and no outside devices can access any applications. That's the overall security posture organizations are looking for, and that's what we're delivering right now. Moreover, the integration capability of Workspace ONE enhances the IT infrastructure. Good integrations are available. There are a few limitations, but both Citrix and VMware are working on enhancements. But the integrations are pretty much similar.

The product has provided my company with full control over the devices, so it has helped streamline device management across our organization. VMware Workspace ONE has improved our remote workforce, especially in terms of efficiency and visibility, while providing better control to users. The most important feature of the product in enforcing our company's security policies is getting correct access to the network. The IAM feature of the product is the most critical component that is useful for our organization. The product's single sign-on capability is an advantage not only in terms of security but also in terms of how it is made work easy in our company. Some of the internal people in our company take care of the maintenance part of the product. I recommend the product to those who plan to use it. I would describe the product to be very capable and adaptable when it comes to the integration capabilities it offers, considering our company's existing infrastructure. Based on the use of the solution in our company's IT operations and the satisfaction level of its end users, the tool has helped my organization to increase efficiency and productivity. I rate the overall tool a ten out of ten.

When I first opened it up and had to learn the product, I was easily a novice. By the end of the third month, I was digging into the backend of the system and using it as a highly advanced user to accomplish what I needed to accomplish, and I was able to do it through the UI mostly."

It is secure and easy to use. Because it is centrally managed, you don't have to do any configuration on the phone. I just got the phone and connected to the central applications. I just downloaded one thing and everything got rolled out. Email, calendar, and other things were deployed centrally. If you don't have AirWatch, you have to configure your phone manually. For example, you need to deploy and configure your email manually and then synchronize everything. It is much simpler when a mobile device is centrally managed."
