VxRail Review

Easy to use, good resource deployment, but integration could improve

What is our primary use case?

We use the solution for high volumes of data transfer and accessing and processing that data.

What is most valuable?

The solution is easy to use. When turning on a server or a machine that is required for, deployment or quality assurance, the dynamic deployment of resources is good.

What needs improvement?

We would like to see integrating with Nutanix. Currently, we are working on integrating the two to see if there is any value in doing so.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using the solution for four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I have found the solution to be stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The solution is scalable. We have more than 1000 users using the solution.

How are customer service and technical support?

We were satisfied with the customer service.

How was the initial setup?

Our product vendor did the installation for us.

What about the implementation team?

The deployment was done by Dell EMC. We have six technicians working on maintenance for the solution.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The licensing comes with the contract with Dell EMC. The solution is competitively priced but it is expensive. However, this is expected as we are a corporate enterprise and we need this environment.

What other advice do I have?

I rate VxRail a seven out of ten.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Hybrid Cloud

Which version of this solution are you currently using?

Latest version
