Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Previous Solutions
I previously worked with Veeam Backup.
View full review »We decided to work with Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud as it was dependable and easy to use. The decision factor for us was ease of deployment. It has a low learning curve. We taught ourselves how to use the product by watching online training videos. We were able to implement the knowledge successfully. It helped us start the product quickly whenever we resell it for other customers.

I've also had a client that has used Veeam in the past. They found it was a constant struggle just to get the backups working, never mind the restores.

I have experience with Veritas, Veeam, and Commvault. I chose Aronis over other tools as it is a much easier tool to use and a well-integrated solution with cloud services.
View full review »Most competitors have similar solutions, but Acronis has an advantage in cybersecurity and protection. Other vendors focus more on backup and features around it. We compared Acronis with Veritas Alto SaaS Protection and Veeam.

I used Veritas. The previous product was not very layman and required contacting a configuration repair person. Acronis, on the other hand, can be easily accessed and understood by any customer regarding backup policies. It also provides a better understanding of licensing, which was difficult with the previous product. Acronis is a more configurable product, and it offers a single console for managing all devices.

Prior to Acronis, we used Commvault, Backup Exec, and Veeam.
We found Commvault too expensive, overly complex, and very hardware intensive. Quite often with Commvault, you had to have more servers to put the backups onto than you were actually backing up.
View full review »I worked with Veeam Backup & Replication, but I prefer Acronis Backup Cloud because you can choose the type of deployment you want. For example, you can deploy it on the cloud or on-premises because Acronis Backup Cloud has two versions. Veeam Backup & Replication, on the other hand, only has the on-premise version, so you always have to deploy it on-premises.

I have used other solutions, such as Norton Backup and Arcserve. Acronis is by far the most cost-effective.

We used Veeam earlier. Comparatively, Acronis provides better endpoint security features.

I didn't use any other solution.
View full review »I used to run Microsoft Backup. It was built into every single copy of the Windows server. The problem with this (everybody knows about this) is they require you to use a floppy disk. Nobody has floppy disks anymore, you have to buy a USB floppy disk to get the little files saved and that the entire backup to depends on.
When it was time to make an upgrade, I used a variety of different programs. Backing up stuff in a server environment is different than backing up a home computer, so I mainly went with the Acronis product, because they're world-renowned for server backups and if you need a reliable backup you go to Acronis. I don't know what else anybody else would want. I know Symantec has a couple of different backup products, but I don't think they're as reliable as Acronis.
I discovered Acronis when I started doing some research on backups and my father-in-law, who was an IT guy, he was like, "You should put Acronis on that system." I was like, "Well, all right, I'll go check it out." So, I did a lot of research on it, then I just ended up picking Acronis. After reading about what they do and how they do stuff, it just seemed like the right company to pick.

We have used other on-premise solutions for backup, but for the cloud, we selected Acronis because of security.

We previously used Veeam. With Veeam, you need a service provider in order to get services. We wanted scalability and something on the cloud.
View full review »I personally have used corporate solutions, such as Dropbox, Veritas, and Veeam. Veeam is good as well.

We previously used Veeam Cloud Connect. We still use it for some customers. The customer decides which solutions they choose to use and we, as integrators, implement it for them.
View full review »Because my company is under a re-seller agreement, we switched to this product. We evaluated other products, but for our target segment market, we chose Acronis.

Prior to Acronis, I used to use Cobian Backup. It had a final release several years ago.
Cobian did not have a lot of features. For example, it didn't have those related to cloud-based backups or knowledge of federated accounts.
