If you buy 10 TB on the cloud, Acronis gives you free licenses on the cloud. Suppose you have an increasing number of users in your organization, and you need 12 to 15 TB on the cloud. In that case, Acronis gives you the option to have another copy on the ground, and such software on the ground is free of charge, which is beautiful and impacts the product's scalability features. The moment you decide some users to be on the cloud, it is easy, but it will take time, and it is meaningful for the product to take some time with the process. With only a click, you can have another copy for some users from the ground to the cloud.

In the case where you might get a network break or something, and the backup has to start again, it just leads to metadata changes and then basically carries on from where it left off instead of starting fresh from zero, which a lot of backup software does not support.

What I like best about Acronis Backup Cloud is the active protection feature that helps you protect your workload from ransomware attacks. It's a security feature that lets you combat ransomware. If you have the active protection feature enabled for your workload, you won't have to worry even if your system gets attacked by ransomware.

We chose Acronis as our backup solution because of the diversity in the types of backups it can provide.

One of my favorite features of the Acronis backup product is the ability to replicate the backups. Backup data can be replicated to a second, third, or even fourth data source.

It's the only important thing in a backup software, at least for a company our size, is that we actually get our data backed.

Normally, I don't care how long it takes to get the data. It's important to a point, but ultimately, as long as the data comes back, that's all that we care about.

Acronis has curved out a really good name for themselves and they're a trusted backup software system, and it's mainly from reliability. That's the main reason why we use it. It lets you know if anything has gone wrong with the server. It'll email you.

They have online cloud support. Basically, it allows you to monitor multiple servers from one location, so they've their control panel/dashboard, which allows you to monitor more than one server. So, we've got three primary servers, then I use one of those as control dashboards to get in and go look at see what's going on with the other servers. It lets me call up programs real quick.

When you come in the morning, it will tell you if it made the night's backups the night before, which is really cool. You can do validation. That's one of the best features that's available with it: validations.

That means when you make a backup, they've got this thing where you can validate the backup and Acronis tells you whether or not the backup is valid. You're not just recording garbage. This would be one of the big advantages of using it. They have some centralized vaults and personal vaults, paid management, disk management, and mounted images. They allow you to make an ISO image of the server which you're working on.

A super big feature: If a server crashes, you just can't go back in there, because everything you've had on it crashed. So Acronis lets you create a CD. It's called an ISO CD. It's an imaging CD, and you drop that in the server. That lets you back into the server environment through Acronis to get Acronis set back up on that machine. This is what is critical to the whole thing, because you got to have a way back into the environment so that you can rebuild the server.

A valuable feature is the user-friendly control management. I appreciate the integrated service, where just one agent and one virtual management are needed to handle everything.

You can create a new VM, via the cloud, using the same image backup and network settings, that is very easy to configure

The Business Continuity Plan is all in one and easy to use, unlike competitors that require you to know more detail going forward. It is much more user-friendly.

The first valuable feature is the incremental backups which ensure that your information and products are always up to date. 

Secondly, there are many knowledge base articles that are detailed and make it is easy to troubleshoot when issues arise. 

Lastly, we have collaborated with the support team for more complex issues which can't be fixed by our team. In two to three weeks, they have helped us resolve these issues.

I would say compression, which was about 95% on the databases. The fact that the agent, which is installed on the system, can do Quality of Service.
