As of now, it's predominantly meant for Google Cloud. It would be good if it could be extended to other clouds as well.

We'd like to have the ability to have backups of our on-prem workloads and also be able to have it integrate with cybersecurity solutions.

Backup to tapes is still in demand and it's not supported. It's something that customers are demanding from us.
