I had some experience with Extreme Networks equipment when I was the superintendent of a school district, and It was always great. We never had any problems. We may have had an issue with a switch here or there, but they always came in and swapped it out.
View full review »We did not experience any issues with stability. Once configured, the Aerohive system basically runs itself. We have auto-upgrade enabled and the new updates get installed without us having to really do anything. We do verify that things are good after an update, but we typically don't have to take any action.
View full review »ExtremeCloud is stable. I rate the solution 10 out of 10 for stability.
View full review »Our APs are so stable that I forget we have them. I almost never get service calls related to hardware problems with our wireless.

It's not stable. I watched many videos. I thought I made some mistakes with deployment. I needed to isolate the access points management. In the beginning, it's like the data and access points were in the same zone. I watched some video that said not to do that, so I built a test environment and put the access points in that environment, but nothing changed. Hopefully, it's because we don't have the right license.
When we did the speed test, it's 500 or 600. We don't have the Pilot license, so we weren't expecting more than 150 megabits. Sometimes it's 105 megabits.

The stability is good. We haven't had any issues with it.
View full review »In the early days there were some stability issues with the code, but they corrected them quickly. We had instances where the data plane on the AP's would randomly stop forwarding traffic which of course caused the wireless clients to not be able to reach the rest of the network.
View full review »Our WiFi has been running without issues since deployment. Changes have been easy to implement. We upgraded the AP software once and the HiveManager NG once without any downtime.

The product's stability is good.
View full review »I have not experienced issues relating to stability. Aerohive is very stable and has been up for over 2 years without a single fault!
View full review »We have not had any issues with stability or the hardware itself. Some issues were seen with older wireless standards (B/G) and needed to be addressed by modifying radio strengths, etc..
View full review »Issues with stability are few and far between. Occasionally, an access point needs a reboot, but our clients have no trouble accessing the network on a regular basis.
View full review »We encountered no issues with stability.

From my perspective, ExtremeCloud IQ is a stable solution.
View full review »I did not encounter any issues with stability.
View full review »Stability is not an issue at all. Since implementation, we have had more power outages than wi-fi outages. I'm even impressed at the coverage during AP updates.

None, zero. It runs like the proverbial top. No stability issues, whatsoever. We have good, clean power to the switches and as it is a new building, our infrastructure is brand-new. Update in October of 2018- still completely satisfied with Aerohive switches and AP's. Performance has been perfect, I appreciate the updates and enhancements to the HiveManager and am in that almost every day for the reporting. I truly appreciate working with a company that takes innovation seriously and continuously improves the UI and UX. I would definitely buy again.
View full review »We didn't really have issues with stability, and they were a lot less than our previous solutions.

I have had some stability issues with the older AP110/AP120 models taking newer v6 code. I have spoken to support about this issue but no resolution came about, other than leaving them on the older code.

It's extremely stable. Most of the time, it works like a charm.
View full review »Generally no however there are 2 occasions that caused us some problems.
AP120 back on hivemanager 4 ran into a buffer issue where clients would just stop communicating even though they remained connected. This was a driver buffer overflow issue fixed with a newer firmware and AP121s.
We had issues on hivemanager 6 where the roaming capabilities between access points stopped working. Also fixed with an update provided by Aerohive.
View full review »When we installed the latest firmware versions on these APs, sometimes we encountered major/minor bugs that would force us to roll back until an appropriate patch was released. Also, with some bleeding-edge AC units we had some problems when they were under high client-loads were new clients would be unable to associate to the APs.

View full review »One HiveOS release, we downgraded until the next revision was released.
View full review »We've had no issues with stability.
View full review »We have run into some stability with older firmware on Access Points but that is very rare usually there is a update that fixes it or we roll back if it an update issue.
View full review »We have not encountered any issues related to stability of the Aerohive access points.
View full review »Have had no issues with stability. Again, and again, I'm not sure what to say except that I don't have any issues with stability.
View full review »No stability issues.
View full review »I'm pleased with current performance and do not have any issues that need to be addressed.
View full review »We have only had one WLAN drop since installing the Aerohive AP121.
View full review »We had/have some problems with stability, but it’s not problem with Aerohive itself. We are covering manufacturing/industrial environment, which is emitting lots of interference on the 802.11 b/g/n band. Stability on this band is very poor due to the environment, but on 802.11 a/n band (because of more channels) stability is very good.
View full review »Not really, on occasion a few of the access points seem to slow down and a reboot fixes it quickly but it's not been often enough that we've needed to figure out why.
View full review »Just some problems with bandwidth steering and 2.4Ghz only clients being able to connect regularly.

View full review »No, this solution has been a very stable solution once we had it in place. We have several points of service that are now independent. Aerohive are pro-active and provide occasional updates to ensure an adequate stability.
View full review »It's a stable device and we haven't had any issues with instability.
View full review »Yes, problems with user handovers and load balancing across multiple APs.
