The return on investment of AWS is significantly influenced by its inherent scalability, a feature that comes standard with cloud solutions. With AWS, scaling is instant and straightforward. For instance, if you require a router or switch deployment, it can be executed immediately. In contrast, in-house setups entail purchasing the necessary hardware, waiting for delivery, and then deploying it, which can be time-consuming. AWS streamlines this process, making scalability effortless. Additionally, with adequate financial resources, enhancing AWS services becomes readily achievable.

Because there is no initial investment in AWS services (it's a pay as you go service in its basic form) the ROI is immediate. Because AWS costs are consistently being reduced, it is a great way to build services, offered at affordable prices, while still getting good returns on investment.
