It's highly scalable. It's guaranteed 99.99% uptime, and it shows you can scale up or scale out whenever you need more space.

Scaling up means you can add more memory to your VM at any time or increase the size of your database. Scaling out means you can create multiple VMs in different regions if you want; that's where availability zones come in.

You can add more VMs if needed, and if one shuts down for any reason, the other one comes up. This is where load balancers come into play. The load balancers automatically create new VMs to manage the load of traffic coming to your website or application. So, it's highly scalable.

Scalability is good. I like the EFS expandable storage because it expands and contracts, you don't have to do anything with it and it's really inexpensive. Somebody may use it for temporary storage where they drop a terabyte of data that they need to give to a customer and then it shrinks back down when they're done with it. It expands and contracts as needed and that's also reflected in the cost.

The solution scales up very well. You can easily expand to however big you like. There doesn't seem to be much of a limit. It's very easy to do so as well.

If you scale something up and if you already have your scripts, your JSON, your LAN, and scripts running, and it sees the joint unit, then it brings it right back down. For example, it only uses what you need. If you build in it according to AWS's best practices, then you have a lean mean machine. If you're using their best practices, you'll be fine.

We are using the solution more for POC purposes, and therefore there are only three people on it currently.

I work with AWS Lambda all the time and I never have any problems with scaling. Recently, Lambda launched a new billing system, which is cost per millisecond. So that's great, because now I can scale my functions with a precise cost calculation.

The solution is absolutely scalable.

Amazon allows us to scale up and then down, something important to one of our customers who was in need of temporary increases in the throughput provided to the servers. This allowed us to meet the client's needs for the days or weeks that they required more dynamically located servers, after which we were able to scale down. This we were able to do through Amazon. This was difficult to accomplish beforehand, as the client had private servers for which he was forced to buy machines which he would subsequently keep.

I’ve never experience issues with scalability. AWS services offer very flexible set of tools to architect solutions that give the best performance and economic advantages. Combined solutions using elastic computing capabilities, containers, APIs, and even more innovative server-less capabilities (FaaS) can be leveraged to tackle the most challenging use cases.

None at all. AWS is infinitely scalable. Though on one occasion, our preferred instance type was not available in the Availability Zone we wanted it in. View full review »

Amazon AWS' scalability is very good.

There are a lot of features that require scaling - the scale up and scale down aspects of load balancer, Spot Instances, On-Demand Instances, and all those things. You can configure your limits, and based on that, the computer infrastructure can be scaled up.

There are tons of users using it. Whatever the project I work on, there are almost 200 users using it.

There are lot of data engineers, data scientists, and business users using it.

Scalability is very good and easy to do.

We have three or four clients using this platform. Most of our clients start with something small, and they are looking for growth. This is one of the reasons that we are using this cloud-based system. It gives them something small to start with, that fits their requirements.

We have about 30 or so people on the solution right now. They are mostly our analytical team and some business users.
