I have contacted Amazon's customer support. It was just a couple of calls when I was working in Iceland on a project, and the servers were not reachable. There was some kind of issue at the country level, not an issue of Amazon specifically. There was some issue with the solution in Iceland.

The support provided by Amazon AWS is highly responsive. We have a strong alliance with Amazon AWS, and we regularly interact with their teams. They conduct knowledge-sharing sessions for us and keep us informed about new features. They are always available to support us. They have helped us from the inception phase of any large engagement up to providing help in troubleshooting some problems. They are extremely helpful.

I rate the support of Amazon AWS a ten out of ten.

In situations beyond my expertise, I've contacted the engineers. They've been helpful in resolving issues, providing support with freezes, and offering guidance whenever needed.

The quality of the customer service and support depends on the engineer I interact with.

However, in most cases, including my own, around 75% of the time, the engineers I've encountered have been knowledgeable, supportive, and flexible.

While individual experiences may vary based on specific learning, I would generally rate the support as good.

I would them a nine out of ten as a rating. However, the problem we have is not with AWS. Rather, we don't allow them to touch our infrastructure. We've got a lot of security issues and protocols. It's not an AWS issue, it's the way the corporation is built, and that's due to the fact that what we do is highly sensitive.

We would need to ask for specific professional services if we did run into issues.

Going through the chats has left me a little disappointed. It's taking far too long, and I have to come back with questions. The reason could be that they have too many departments internally, so they assign a ticket from one department to another, and it takes a long time to complete the task and provide an accurate solution.

I currently have several issues with Amazon Connect because we can only obtain two telephone numbers by default. With this scenario, there was a very difficult process to let Amazon know that we are not working for ourselves in our console, and that we offer our services as a third party, in terms of SaaS and IaaS, to our customers.

I'm not directly involved in the creation of accounts, and I just use them once they are created on the company or client's side. But in Amazon Connect, when we needed to add more users, the time response from Amazon was two or three days. We are subscribed to the developer support plan, and I think two or three days is a lot of time.

Literally phone rings minutes after you log a trouble ticket. They're usually pretty good about escalations and helping. Out of AWS, Azure, and GCP, I'd give them the number two ranking. Azure has good support, however, it's expensive. GCP probably is number three I'd say, of the top three.

The technical support is okay. It takes a while to get their attention; maybe they are small players — they have bigger fish to fry. I'm not very involved in talking to technical support, our engineering team deals with them.

We have a team of around four or five engineers who handle all maintenance-related issues.

All our needs were met by researching the documentation. AWS offers stable resources and abundant documentation. There is no reason to use the technical support frequently.

I don't directly take support from Amazon. We have a company for technical support, and their suggestion was great. The technical sample that they gave was very easy. It helped to resolve the problem quickly.

Our team has used technical support in the past. I haven't myself, personally, however, my team called them for technical questions. We tend to use either AWS or our system integrator when it comes to answering some troubleshooting issues.

The support could be better. It's my understanding that they need to take some sort of certification, and that there is a bit of a learning curve. They're not bad, however, as I mentioned, they could be more proficient. While some seem to be certified, others need to polish their skillsets.

The cloud platform can have problems, but AWS has a good SLA. If a region has problems, Amazon will fix the issue, so the customer never knows.

We have not used the technical support from AWS, because we are a company without a partnership. We contact their implementation partners for support. We also work closely with our client's implementation partners who have been fairly helpful. They have been able to deliver.

The technical support from AWS has not been very forthcoming. It is very difficult to get.

I haven't used technical support. I haven't yet had a need to. Therefore, I can't discuss anything in regards to their helpfulness or knowledgeability. That speaks to how good their product has been overall.

That said, if you run into problems, most of the issues that you are having in terms of technical difficulties can be solved within the documentation.
