Before using Apigee, we used to have file transfer integrations. With Apigee in place, we are directly integrating or exposing our APIs to our partners who can access our services directly in real time.

The solution has improved our organization by formalizing the API interfaces. Through API specification documents, we can automate our documentation of those APIs and we can make it easier for our customers to integrate as it's a standard way of defining those APIs.

We have seen product improvement. Initially, we didn't use much of the analytics part. Later on, we saw that as an improvement. The rate-limiting quotas are improved as well.

The organization has benefited from the development of fast, new APIs and new integration points.

The development is quite standard. The deployment can be completely automated because the solution exposes APIs. We have built a completely automated deployment cycle. It triggers validation, verification, deployment, testing, and promotion to the higher environment. It is completely done through Ansible Playbooks. Apigee also provides a few playbooks.

We've been having point-to-point connections with external vendors. It has actually helped us to be able to integrate our internal applications with external vendors. It is more like a single point of entry into the enterprise. Initially, we used to have the vendor directly interact with the application owners, but now, we come in between as an integration partner for external vendors. All integration has to go through us, which makes management as well as security simpler.

We want to create one API to be used by different clients. In terms of management, even though the proxying of an API is not a lot of work, it is better to create a single API that can be reused. When the API version changes, you only have versioning for a single API, rather than in several places with the same capability.

Moving forward, if you change or update the version, the underlying functionality of the application needs to fashion the APIs correctly. This solution is created for the same capability. To prevent that, we just create the same API, and then we productize it and you are versioning a single API and not going back and versioning different APIs that do the same thing.

Apigee brings a lot of projects, including development projects. For example, when an oil company is swiping a card in the palm station for payment of oil. As it swipes, it hits the database, and Apigee manages the entire process with the help of dedicated proxies. Managing those proxies is very easy, and Apigee makes proxy management very simple.

The solution has improved our company's time to market. When we deploy a policy for a particular API, the creation of the policy and the gateway is significantly faster than what we were doing with our Layer 7 gateways. It's easier to develop the policy and to walk through the policy using the Apigee interface.

Apigee didn't exactly improve our organization, but it fulfilled a requirement. There are a few tools in the marketplace, but we thought Apigee was the best for our use case.

• Throttling is also useful as well as management console tools to track performance.

Apigee is a front-layer gateway and it helps to improve our overall performance.
We can repair requests and respond to vacant needs and that's a big help to us. 

We are achieving five thousand TPS (Throughput per second) on peak load, and managing thousands of proxies against K8s cluster services.

Our clients would best be able to speak to that. As we just assist them in the process, it's not on us to divulge such details.

We have been able to fulfill all of our use cases with Apigee.

This platform has opened the doors for a different line of business altogether. We are now able to monetize our features and deliver them easily through APIs. Since the advent of mobile and IoT, we are focusing on providing an easy interface for third parties and developers, and Apigee has given us a head start in that direction.

It provides secured incoming connections with data and cloud-based API functionality, which results in efficiency and reliability.

Being an employee of a service-based company, we have implemented the product for different customers.

Apigee is very fast in transferring requests and responses between Northbound systems to Southbound systems. It has a very efficient logging system which is easy to maintain.
