What is most valuable?

For me, the features I find most valuable are definitely in the Collaboration Hub. That is something that we are developing. We are getting more users on there and becoming more familiar with it. The… more»

How has it helped my organization?

For me, one of the main improvements in our organization has been the removal of duplication. We have business analysts across the organization and the business areas that are the ones that are… more»

What needs improvement?

One thing I'd like to see changed and improved — bearing in mind we do not use the full functionality — is custom reporting. One thing that I found is in order to get us mobilized, get the processes… more»

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Personally, I've spent a lot of time working in Visio. I've only been at the BBC for five years and then my previous employer worked in Visio. Going back a bit further, I did a piece of work with an… more»

What other advice do I have?

One of the important things for us when we were looking at solutions, was the ease of use. A lot of other solutions out there were just like Visio. The interface for Signavio is good. It is easy to… more»

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I can't remember exactly which solutions we were evaluating before we chose Signavio. There were five on the shortlist. We purposely went with a consultant to use their consultancy experience to help… more»

What is most valuable?

The most valuable feature is the ability to quickly build multiple layers within the organizational and business process environments, as well as in the SysML product environments, and converting to files that can be accessed by clients who… more»

How has it helped my organization?

I use Magic Draw for program/systems modeling to support client engagements. I used Magic Draw most recently to model from the strategic level down to the business process level for a company that is preparing for an ERP project. I was able… more»

What needs improvement?

I would like to see the ability to deploy live business process models and capture real-time data (without the need for another product tool) so you don't have to be dependent on other products for this functionality. The bottom line is… more»

What other advice do I have?

Magic Draw has capabilities that I'm sure I haven't even touched on, but at least for what I'm attempting to achieve, it provides the most capability to meet my needs at this point in time.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

This solution fits my use case better than any other product that I have evaluated. Some of the competitors are ARIS BPM and Bizagi.

What is most valuable?

The most valuable features are the pre-defined templates for business process design, the data analysis, and performance enhancements.

What needs improvement?

It would be helpful to be able to do more analytics and generate reports on historical documents that have already been uploaded to the server. I would like to see better communication between the sensor process team and the end users.

What other advice do I have?

I would recommend this solution. The top two are ARIS and iGrafx. Each of them has some advantage over the other, but in general, they're the tip top. This product fulfills ninety percent of our needs, and we're happy as users of it. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
