Atlassian Confluence Scalability

As I said, the largest environment i was working with at a customer has 100+ authors and I imagine plenty of pages and other content - sadly I do not know the exact figures - but we never had reason to complain in our project which only consisted of 12 people actively using Confluence. So I guess scalability should not be an issue.

The product scales well.
We started at 100 users and have since scaled to 300 users. We will continue to increase usage.
View full review »We have more than 15,000 users on it. There were no problems with the solution's speed.
Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.
Around 20 to 30 percent of my company's clients are enterprise-sized businesses, while the rest of our customers consist of medium-sized businesses.
Around 12 clients are using Atlassian Confluence.
I rate Atlassian Confluence ten out of ten for scalability.
The scalability of Atlassian Confluence is very good when I see how many people are using it. There could be up to 1,000 users using the solution.
View full review »Atlassian Confluence is scalable, and usable from anywhere, as well as from my phone. There are various Confluence or Jira applications, I can access the data immediately anytime I want.
We have multiple projects and half of my colleagues are using it. We have approximately 25 users in our organization.
We have plans to increase our usage.
We intend to extend it throughout the entire organization. We want to conduct certain HR initiatives on Jira as well.
Our HR department may also collaborate with them and Jira. I believe it is a useful tool.

This is a scalable solution. It is built on a crop base and so adding additional documents is simple.
The solution is scalable and it's centrally controlled, and we have a couple of central responsibility roles for adding new users. It's helpful for us on the backend because if we want to provide access to different sets of people, some may need edit access, some may need read-only access, and we utilize those different permissions.
Confluence is scalable on both the cloud and server data center. On the cloud, you can even go up to 10,000 users, which was not the case three or four years ago.
We have nearly 300 users. We do our assignment reports on it, and some use it in sales. Managed services staff use it to share information with clients. It is used by everyone.

The solution is very easy to scale, especially because it's easy to interface with other applications. In my project at the bank we have over 100 users; my client has thousands of users.
The scalability is enough for our use cases. It covers all our needs.

The tool is suitable for all types of companies. Many enterprise-level companies use Atlassian Confluence because they have lengthy processes that run for years. The aforementioned area prompts enterprises to choose Atlassian Confluence for their documentation.

It seems highly scalable. There are 500 end users using this solution.
We have IT, service desk agents, and regular users across different functions. Everyone is using it. For example, if someone needs to look up documentation or assistance with workflows, they would use Confluence.
It's used alongside Jira. Each team would likely have a Jira code for that purpose.

I assume the scalability of the solution is good. My company has used it for several years now. We've been growing in that time and we haven't had any kind of stability issues and we've never felt like the solution has gotten too small to meet our needs. It grows with us. We've been able to utilize it as we've needed, as we've grown. It seems to scale nicely.

With respect to our experiences with Confluence, we haven't had any issues; however, we definitely have had issues within the Jira environment back in 2014.
Scalability issues should have been fixed by now - they arose back in 2010-2014 at one of the largest enterprise implementations for multi-1.000s of concurrent users on the system, causing the system to operate very slow - I would expect that by 2020 this is treated accordingly to make the system scale without loss of performance.
