The solution's deployment takes a few minutes.

Whether we need a consultant to help with the deployment depends on our knowledge of the cloud platform and our applications. It is a complex solution. We can do it ourselves if we know about WAFs, rule sets, and deployments. It is not a solution for a novice or someone unfamiliar with the security and application firewall. Such people might need the help of an administrator or consultant. We deployed the solution ourselves.

We already have web applications running on an AWS account, so it probably took about two minutes to implement this solution.

The deployment was done manually on the console, there is no need of propriety.  It took around an hour and half. 

There is no maintenance required. AWS also upgrades new offerings. AWS does all these things. Like, it does why it's very expensive.  And they give us the metrics.

The product's setup phase was carried out in-house.

We brought Amazon on to set everything up for us. They made implementation very easy. 

When we had set it up for a large insurance company, the deployment took us over six weeks. We deployed the solution with an in-house team. We need quite a bit of technical staff to maintain the solution.

Our teams do not manage the product. The deployment process includes adding a new customer, reserving their information on the cloud, creating the nodes, publishing the service and testing it on the old security aspects. Then, the solution is deployed on the cloud. 

The time taken for deployment depends on the customer's requirements. Usually, there is a delay due to missing information from the customers. One or two engineers can handle the deployment. We do not need a big team for it.

We implemented AWS WAF through our in-house team and a consultant.

Our in-house engineers implemented the solution. They are already familiar with AWS and hold AWS certifications.

Everything is managed through cloud formation. After implementation, three or four hours a week are required for maintenance.

We deploy the product in-house. We need one senior solution architect and one junior solution architect to deploy the tool. We have a team of analysts for experiments. We need only one person to maintain the solution.

Most of the time we try to use a consultant for deployment. Our experience with them has been good. They know their jobs. They try to incorporate more features, teach us how to do things. It's a learning process and they're always there to make sure that we understand the stuff. They get things going.

We haven't needed anyone from AWS to help us with the deployment or implementation. It's all me at this point.
