Azure DDoS Protection Primary Use Case
I use Azure DDoS Protection to safeguard my applications and prevent distributed denial-of-service attacks. Additionally, I ensure that all firewalls provide comprehensive protection against application-layer threats.
To ensure the security of my web applications and proper implementation of all DDoS protection measures, I implemented Azure DDoS Protection. As a result, my RDP access and data are now securely protected.
We use DDoS Protection to protect public IPs exposed through Azure. Everything in our product with a public IP is protected. It still provides protection once our product is onboarded on the subscription.
The solution gives us alerts when something is triggered or if it detects anything strange. DDoS Protection is integrated with Azure Defender, so it's already monitored by our security team.
View full review »We use Azure DDoS for protection against unwanted attacks like malware and phishing attacks. The solution is best for large enterprises because it's quite expensive compared to the other security solutions provided by Azure.
Azure DDoS and Azure DOS are quite different. DDoS is the most advanced and innovative service-attack solution by Microsoft. We're using it because it's easy to configure and has reporting features and analytics in the dashboard, so we're able to analyze all of the system processes from a single pane.
There are about nine team members who use this solution. Their roles are in DevOps, Product Engineering, and Infrastructure.
This solution is extensively used in our organization, specifically within application user groups. We have the plan to increase usage from 20% to 25%.
This is deployed on the cloud via Azure. We use the most current version. The solution is managed by Azure, so we always use the latest version.
