Azure Site Recovery Valuable Features
The ease of synchronization in Azure Site Recovery is a valuable feature. Azure Site Recovery's ability to ensure synchronization of VMs from on-premises to the cloud is something that Veeam doesn't do well, and it is one of the major factors that drove us towards the tool.
Azure Site Recovery's automated file synchronization was a game-changer in managing legacy systems. Setting up the sync was easy, and when disaster recovery was triggered, ASR automatically ensured seamless replication of files from the primary to the secondary server. With just a click, this feature simplified and expedited the entire process, providing a reliable solution for maintaining data consistency between servers during recovery events.
The solution is secure, reliable, and scalable.

What I love about Azure Site Recovery is its simplicity for basic configurations. We are currently testing it as a safety net for our VMs, and while the pricing concerns us a bit, I see the bigger picture. Investing in such services might save us more in the long run compared to maintaining on-premises infrastructure, considering hardware costs.
For enterprise-level use, it is pretty good. However, for smaller customers, it can be a bit expensive compared to other solutions in the market. Personally, I prefer using Azure Migrate, as it is more cost-effective for smaller-scale use cases.

The product provides generally good performance, from protection to production to failover to data recovery.
What I like best about Azure Site Recovery is that it's easier to use because my organization already uses Azure as an Active Directory solution, which means the organization already has a tenant. It was easier to go for Azure Site Recovery, though the solution's features can also be found in other solutions in the market.
I also found the load-balancing feature of Azure Site Recovery valuable. The solution fulfills the needs of my organization.

We haven't really found any of the features to be valuable. It's around five years behind other market leaders. We prefer to use VMware products for site recovery software.

The solution is very easy to use.
The approach the solution takes to data recovery is very good. We can fail-over from production and the disaster recovery aspect of the solution is quite seamless. There are a few configurations that need to happen, however, once it's up it works quite well.
