We are using it at a site for our client. We've got three Hyper-V services with the client's virtual machines. We've got Exchange. We've got Active Directory. We've got a database server. We've got a payroll system. It does backups of everything onto an external hard drive and offsite.

We're using its latest on-premise version.

Overall I primarily use BackupAssist to back up servers, but there are other applications. I have a network drive and I needed to use it on my office computer to back it up. We have a version called BackupAssist Workstation and BackupAssist Classic and there is a new one that I am not familiar with. 

I use BackupAssist to back up my Hyper-V host and the virtual machines. 

We primarily use the solution as an active directory and concurrently as a file server.

• Backing up of Hyper-V hosts to an iSCSI device with data of about 6 TB
• Three hosts with about 12 virtual machines.
