The cost of the solution is higher than other vendors, yet with the extra cost. 

For a low-level firewall, it's likely less than 1,00 Francs a year. They work on a yearly subscription model. 

We typically buy a full-featured package that has everything inside. 

I'd rate the pricing a three out of five in terms of affordability. 

To further improve security, we'll buy the F280 version of this product. The F280 subscription costs EUR 3,000. There are a few extra expenses like paying for updates or new firewalls. 

The Barracuda solution has a one-off cost of EUR 3,000. On a yearly basis, with it you have extra expenses like Energize updates and Instant Replacements and Network Security CloudGen Firewall, including the monthly fees.

Pricing is comparable to other firewall solutions. I don't really have an opinion about the cost. Cost seems to be in line with their competitors.

The platform is inexpensive compared to other vendors. I rate its pricing a five out of ten. We have purchased its support services for three years.

I rate Barracuda CloudGen Firewall an eight out of ten for its pricing. It's not the most expensive, but it's certainly not cheap. It costs around $2000 a year for licensing, instant replacement, antivirus, virus or malware protection, and the general support contract we use. I am not aware of any additional costs to the standard licensing fee we pay for this solution.

Its licensing is on a yearly basis. There is an upfront purchase price, and there is also an annual maintenance fee. There are no additional fees.

The licensing cost varies according to the size of the box. The 600 series is about $USD 10,000 a year and the 80 is $400 a year. There's a big difference.

Pricing is good. Licensing is pretty much automatic if using Control Center.

The pricing is very cheap compared to Cisco ASA, which we used before, and compared to Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet. Barracuda has different solutions for different people. For my SMB-level infrastructure, Barracuda has given me a proper solution that is half of the price of Palo Alto or Fortinet.

Pricing and licensing are fine. It's worth the value because if I buy any other product, every four years I have to replace my hardware. But with Barracuda I get a free hardware upgrade. Today I'm using Xbox. After four years I can take another Xbox or a Ybox.

I rate the price seven out of ten.

The solution costs more than 800 Euros to purchase an F18, which is an entry model, and then another 500 Euros for instant replacement, and 500 Euros for energized updates. The total package would be around 1,900 Euros for a five-year license and all updates for an entry model.

It is a real next generation firewall, if you’re looking for any run of the mill box and have little requirements, it’s probably not for you. If your requirements are more demanding and especially if you’ve got a number of locations, this is the product to consider.

The price itself is in the normal range, so the real benefit lies in the savings in management and amount of staff. Furthermore, Barracuda offers a so called instant replacement contract that not only entitles you to replacement of defective hardware, but also after four years enables you to replace the system with a brand new system for free.

The product is a bit cheaper than some solutions. It depends on the type of load.

The solution's price is affordable.

The solution is priced reasonably.

Purchasing through AWS Marketplace was good. We did it because it was easy.

It would be nice if the pricing and licensing offered for less.

The price of this solution is comparable with similar products of similar quality.

It is a product with a very transparent model of licensing. In the sense of hidden expenses, they do not exist with this model. 

The program is not too expensive. We pay around 150 to 200 Euros per year and there are no additional costs.

In the Latin market, it tends to be a little expensive. However, it is our job to show the value of the solution so that the client can understand the return on investment.

In general, it tends to be cheaper than most solutions. I would say that it is cost effective.
