Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security Valuable Features

I really like the EDR solution, which is a risk management tool that was built into the Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security. It helps one get a snapshot of what's going on with the devices in the network and even of the behavior of one's employees.

I noticed that many IT companies do not work with the assessment side of the tool. They will do scans on their devices, but the solution looks at things on a different level. It is a bit more in-depth and won't just examine, say... which ports are open or being used.

I like its unified interface, which also helps you scan Outlook email, for example. Multiple products can be standardized across endpoints or the EDR solution, and the integrations with SIEMs.

The enterprise-grade security it offers is impressive. It's user-friendly and doesn't involve any unnecessary hassle during installation. What sets it apart is that it doesn't hog my server resources or impact the performance of any of my PCs. The quality of security it provides, covering antivirus, ADR, and network traffic, has been exceptional. The patch management feature is incredibly impressive, offering seamless network recovery. I installed it on a single server and seamlessly integrated it into my current network. The domain integrator functionality is particularly noteworthy, allowing me to leverage my existing network infrastructure. The comprehensive overview it provides of my network is truly valuable.

Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security has a lot of telemetry that allows me to really see what's going on with the device. It's at that level. It's a deep view into the device; I can actually tell what's going on in regard to logs and things of that nature. One of the things that I like the most about it is the ease of getting into the solution and utilizing it. With other solutions that I've used, such as Panda, this has been really difficult. Panda's portal was not intuitive at all.

With Bitdefender, I like the fact that everyone starts off with a 30-day trial. Any client that I put into the system gets a 30-day trial. I can even use it as a prospecting tool. I can go in and install it onto a couple of devices in the network, and actually see what's going on, and go from there. Even if I wanted to, I could turn it off and say, "Well, we don't need it."

What I appreciate most about Bitdefender are its web content filtering, blocking malicious sites, and its ability to thwart brute force attacks on open ports. It adds a crucial layer to my security stack, complementing my email filtering systems and FortiGate firewall.

Virus scan and the ability to remotely install are valuable features. Being able to manage everything in one place and set different policies and rules for different computer types are very useful features.

It also has ransomware protection. It is very simple to use, and it is very effective.

I've used McAfee, Kaspersky, and a couple of anti-viruses. I find Bitdefender to be very light. When we were using the other versions, users would complain that they would make the computers slow. But since we have deployed Bitdefender, we haven't had that. Also, I like the management bit of it because it's easy to use.

The most valuable feature is the security of the DNS protection and the core security antivirus engine. Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security is a pioneer in antivirus engines, and their engine is used in many appliances and firewalls at the gateway level.

The application is lightweight, and the agent is deployed through the cloud. Updating something in the cloud barely takes a couple of seconds, and the agents are quickly updated.

It takes lesser energy from the system than the rest. So, we tried it for five years, and it works quite well. So we have continued with it. And the pricing is competitive as well.

When it comes to the web, according to our customers, this product stands out due to its superior performance compared to others. Additionally, the pricing is relatively competitive, which is particularly significant in Sri Lanka. These are the primary advantages that I've observed.

Furthermore, one of the key benefits is the availability of 24/7 customer support. In case customers encounter any issues, they can reach out to the software support team for assistance.
