AI-powered protection, data-rollback ability, and seamless integration with SolarWinds

What is our primary use case?

We are an MSP supporting various business verticals (including medical and pharmaceutical). Our core monitoring/deployment solution is SolarWinds RMM, through which we were recently introduced to SentinalOne. We use the bundled automation to install, patch, and monitor antimalware protection to endpoints. We are in the process of replacing Bitdefender with SentinalOne for several clients.

Pros and Cons

  • "It has the ability to rollback a ransomware infection instantly and with minimal disruption to the user & provides robust reporting."
  • "Set up is very labor-intensive."

What other advice do I have?

Definitely worth the money compared to heuristic solutions, especially for clients who tend to "stretch" their hardware as long as possible. The low impact and robust reporting go a long way to make this an easy sell, and the cost is excellent for the price point.

Good UI and dashboard, but it has no support for mailbox security or sandboxing

What is our primary use case?

We are a solution provider and we deal with three different vendors to supply security products for our customers. One of the products that we implement for them is Cybereason Endpoint Detection & Response. It is used for endpoint protection, in general, and monitoring the endpoint. Those asking for EDR usually have a security operations center (SOC). They just want to see the dashboard, the incidents, and whether something has happened on the endpoint.

Pros and Cons

  • "The dashboard is very good and you can consider it as an interactive UI."
  • "Cybereason does not have sandbox functionality."

What other advice do I have?

This is a product that I recommend for endpoint protection in general, and for the server. However, if they need mailbox security then I would recommend another product. I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.

Excellent at detecting viruses, very stable and easy to use

What is our primary use case?

We primarily use the solution for securing our endpoints.

Pros and Cons

  • "It's excellent at detecting viruses."
  • "The initial setup is complex."

What other advice do I have?

We're a Kaspersky partner. We have clients of different sizes and the solution works well for all of them. It's perfect for any sized company. It's a very good product. Everything is in a very professional environment. It's largely easy to set up. However, we've noticed that the RAM utilization is very high when Kaspersky is running on a computer. This might distract users that don't have too much memory on their machines. On a scale of one to ten, I'd rate it at eight.
