We didn't previously have the sort of scenarios we use Bizagi for, so no.

We also use Visio and other Microsoft-based process modeling software. Bizagi stands out in terms of process modeling. Bizagi is also better in terms of the licensing cost.

In my opinion, Bizagi is better than Sparx. The manner in which Spark operates is the same as ten years ago. Bizagi has evolved in terms of ease of use and adapting the tool. Bizagi is investing in a lot of new user experiences that Sparx is not using.

The tool our company used to was being discontinued. We brought the processes into Bizagi and we automated them. We are going to stop paying for the other tool and always use Bizagi.

I enjoy the way that it looks because it is similar to a real-life scenario. For example, 10 years ago, I was working with a computer-aid design (CAD) system for engineering. The differences between digital representation and the real world were huge. Possibly with the parametric design from building information modeling in 3D, 4D, 5D, and now 6D, the gap is less. You can better represent different aspects, variables, and parts of reality.

I have also used IBM, Lucidchart, and Camuda tools. Some of these are available for a limited time trial, and others are available almost in full for academic institutions at a low cost. For example, Lucidchart has an agreement with Google Workspace inside of academic campuses. Every tool has its advantages and disadvantages. Bizagi is the tool that I use the most.

We moved to Bizagi because the last solution was obsolete. We didn't have any support. So, we had to migrate a lot of processes to Bizagi. In another project, we were using Enterprise Risk Assessor (ERA), and we changed the process to Bizagi. We have a lot of processes in different solutions. We can migrate a few of them to Bizagi, but not all of them.

In my current organization, we also have a BPM tool from IBM.

We briefly used IBM Blueworks Live and switched because the company changed its partnership with IBM one month after I joined. We had to continue mapping processes, and I was already familiar with Bizagi, so we went with that.

I previously used Visio as well. Currently, in our company, we have a Peoplesoft and Pega system, however, I'm looking to implement Bizagi within the client environment. The Pega system is a bit too big for me. I'd like something that is easy to use.

We used Intalio BPMS with a number of our key customers in the past, but the company had dissolved and sold its assets. As a trusted partner to our customers, we helped them evaluate different alternatives, and Bizagi was universally selected because of its ease of use.

I have personally tried using Signavio, CPN Tools, and Visio.

We are part of a larger company, and they meanwhile decided on FireStart, but they definitely want to go into the automatization of modeling and optimization. I wasn't involved in the pricing stuff, and I haven't worked too much on an operational level here, but all things I experienced with that product are very nice. The documentation and modeling are a little more complex, but the features are far richer than Bizagi. It is also direct, so you also have to pay for the modeler. I found it superior to Bizagi.

Consultor Sênior em Gestão de Processos, Negócios e Serviços at Trust Business Consulting

Early on, we used Excel spreadsheets for managing business processes. Then we looked into other BPM tools like IBM BPM, Oracle BPM, and Camunda BPM. However, we decided to use Bizagi because it provides rapid installation and immediate use of the various BPM tools. They also offer an easy installation script which has worked well for us.

It is fully compatible with BPMN 2.0 which is quite comprehensive and hard to learn, and Bizagi made using BPMN 2.0 much easier.

I previously used the Bonitasoft tool, which is a business cross-management tool. Bonita is harder, but you can demand more from its technicians people.

We are now in the process of researching about other tools and changing to new tools. We are looking for a rather simple solution for end users with the same value chain for automation process management. We are evaluating WSO2.

Bizagi is simple. It's simple to learn. Bonita is more complex. Bonita is a tool of architecture. Bizagi is also an architecture tool and it is a business cross-management tool. They are a business cross-management system.

Bonita as a tool has an ecosystem within a better-end tool and other tools, so it's harder. It's harder than Bizagi and it's simpler than WSO2.

I previously worked with Microsoft Visio, but I think that Bizagi outperforms it. I am also trying to learn how to work with ProcessMaker.

I think the main competitive advantage of Bizagi is its user-friendly environment that allows you to drag and drop BPMN elements on its surface. Its simulation abilities are also great, but I think that they can be improved because some elements of BPMN and are not supported in the current version. I recently heard that Bizagi added performance evaluation or assessment and I know I'm not working with it yet.

We used to use Blueworks, from IBM. Bizagi is not as extensive as Blueworks, but it's enough for our company. Bizagi is easy to use, but Blueworks offers more freedom, allowing you to develop more.

Blueworks is more expensive, but it has more functionality. Exporting and processing client uploads is much easier using Blueworks.

Previously, we used Oracle BPM, the time of implementation was very large (almost three times). Most of the processes we implemented were manual processes, even a non-technical person can do most of the work (Forms, Rules, etc). If your process has a lot of integration, the time increases. Bizagi allows you to begin at low costs.
