Blue Prism Cloud Implementation Team

PARTH DAVE - PeerSpot reviewer
RPA Developer at Canadian Pacific Railway

Three to four people from my organization were involved in the deployment, including the IT manager, one person from the infrastructure team, and a solution architect. The infrastructure person was responsible for building the server, database, and other background activities. The solution architect guided the end-to-end commissioning of the tool. A third-party consultant also guided the team on the steps to follow.

A team of five people maintains the solution. They manage the incident report, debugging, and cleaning the database. They are available 24/7.

We took help from a third-party vendor for the solution's implementation. The vendor team included admins, managers, engineers, developers, team leaders, and business analysts.

Implementation usually requires at least one developer, one BA, an infrastructure engineer, a solution architect, and some assistance during deployment. Then you'd need somebody monitoring the virtual workforce. There are probably seven or eight different roles, some with heavier reliance, throughout the implementation cycle.

We started to use Blue Prism's own consultancy to assist us with the implementation process. Blue Prism has their own team that can assist with setups, so we decided to use them. They were very helpful as they understood the technology very well, being an internal team.

We worked with an integrator. They had a setup running already, so it didn't take long for us to start working on it. The process was okay.
