Blue Prism Cloud Other Solutions Considered

Kumar Animesh - PeerSpot reviewer

We evaluated UiPath Cloud and Google Cloud Platform. We chose Blue Prism Cloud because it is compatible with our production machine from Blue Prism, and they gave us a discount as we are their existing customer.

We evaluated Automation Anywhere, NICE, and UiPath. We even worked with Power Automate, but we went with Blue Prism Cloud because it fits our needs and is pretty secure. We have many finance-related transactions, so we need security, and when choosing solutions, we first need to check how secure the solution is, including its data processing. Despite its cost, we chose Blue Prism Cloud because it has unbeatable security, even an OCR feature, and everything's crystal clear on Blue Prism Cloud.

I have previously used UiPath and Automation Anywhere. Blue Prism Cloud offers a lot of security in terms of data. Blue Prism is a preferential RPA tool that our clients prefer.

Blue Prism has its own suite that we have on our cloud setup. This setup could be a little more seamless. It depends on the speed of your internet. If you are using the cloud version and if you're loading the suite for the first time, it can get it saved in the browser memory. This would make this solution easier to use compared to Automation Anywhere and UiPath.

In addition to Blue Prism, I evaluated UiPath and Automation Anywhere. I found that Blue Prism was the most stable and it is very reusable. These are the two reasons that I selected the product.

We did not choose Automation Anywhere because it was the wrong type of automation. We wanted a more unattended bot. It is more for people with no programming skills.

The difference between Blue Prism and UiPath is that with Blue Prism, we were able to ramp up better. We took the training for both products and implemented the same five use cases. For me, it was more painful to do it in UiPath.

We are in the process of evaluating several solutions for our clients. One problem with Blue Prism is that compared to Automation Anywhere, it is lacking in publically available information that describes it. This makes it more difficult for our customers to make an informed decision about implementing it.

I was not involved in the process of selecting Blue Prism. I have some experience with it and it works, but right now, I'm exploring other options. Specifically, I would like to make a strong comparison with UiPath. There may be other products to explore as well that can improve on our current RPA capabilities.
