View full review »BMC Helix ITSM can be configured on load balance services, and there are different ways it can scale. We can build the DR servers to run side by side, there are multiple options to maintain scalability.
We have approximately 1,000 users using this solution. The users that use the solution consist of the change management team, all the technicians, problem management module, and the service assurance team that works with the incidents and create problems and work on them.

The solution is scalable so scalability is rated an eight out of ten.
View full review »The scalability is okay. I'd rate it seven out of ten since it is a bit heavy and gets heavier quite easily.
We might have around 100 people using the solution right now. That includes end-users and developers.

We have approximately 500 users of this solution. We do not have plans to increase the usage of the solution in the future.

I think most BMC products are scalable. I have somewhere close to 125 customers, and the number of users per client varies. Some only have a few hundred. Others have a medium-sized user base in the 3,000 range. At the highest end, our customers have upwards of 30,000. The only issue is the DWP catalogs or the DWP. We should be able to customize the DWP more.

This solution is scalable and I think that it's the best that you can get. I would rate the scalability a ten out of ten.
The current project has 140 people, which excludes the users. There are approximately 20,000 users for this project. This site is quite large.
I have worked on sites that have a couple of hundred users to many thousands.
This solution is suitable for medium to large-sized companies.
View full review »I didn't see any limits. I worked with one client who had, to me, what seemed like a lot of servers. They had some 25,000 servers. They had a lot of BMC workflows. They had a lot of users on the system. I never really got a full feel for how many, based on what I was doing, but I saw no scalability issues. ServiceNow and BMC Remedy scale about equally.

I have found the solution to be scalable. However, other competitors products such as ServiceNow are more robust and scalable. We have many people using the BMC solution in the organization, service managers, individual managers, problem manager, vendors, and individual tiers 0-3. The amount of people is needed as we service over 60 thousand people.

View full review »It is scalable horizontally and vertically. The problem is that you have to use a lot of servers and server infrastructure to scale it. You need a really big infrastructure to manage and sustain ITSM. Most of our clients are big companies.
