We evaluated other options including Cisco AMP and Fortinet EDR.

We evaluated various solutions, including Symantec, ESET, Trellix, and Kaspersky.

We also evaluated Trend Micro.

We explored some traditional solutions as well.

I had tried Palo Alto and Fortinet, however, we got value for money in Check Point. After a POC, we started with Check Point. 

Yes, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Cisco Secure Endpoint were evaluated.

We did explore one more option, which was an offering from Microsoft. The features, efficiency, price point, and pre-existing relationship that we had with Check Point made us go with SandBlast Agent. 

Some of SandBlast's features include ease of deployment on cloud and mobile device coverage, which is our future coverage area. We found that it gave us good operational efficiency on mobile devices. It runs in the background, providing coverage for various parameters in the logs and triggering alerts to users and administration only when there is an attack. Otherwise, it is able to block the attack, URL, or user in the background before notifying them. These are some of the features that stood out and differentiated it from Microsoft Windows Defender.

We evalute the Fortinet solution.

I have only worked with Check Point Harmony Endpoint.

We also looked at Panda Security Adaptive Defense, Cisco Secure Endpoint, ESET Endpoint Security, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

We evaluated the ESET antivirus.

We evaluated Windows ATP and CrowdStrike.

We did not evaluate other options. 

We did evaluate Avast. Which was not performing well. We also evaluated Kaspersky. Their client was a bit to resource-intensive.

Several tools were taken into account, however, Check Point was chosen as we have already used several tools and it has given us confidence and solidity.

I evaluated Intercept X Endpoint. However, it did not impress the entire team.

CrowdStrike was the main one we evaluated against this product.

We haven't evaluated other products but we know there are many that are cheaper than Check Point.

I evaluated several options. This platform was the best.

We did look at Fortinet solutions.

If this does everything it says it does, I don't see any reason that we would use a different product, because this integrates so well with existing Check Point products.

We validated several manufacturers, however, we did not want to have separate solutions. It seems to us a better option to have only Check Point.

I evaluated Trend Micro and McAfee.

I have done research on several similar products to try and determine the best-in-class.

We did evaluate another solution. However, I can't reveal the name.

Our customers were using Trend Micro.

Currently, we're looking at CrowdStrike. We have not yet bought it. We're currently talking about options. I'm already set with a good partner on it and just discussing right now, discussing what is best suited as a product, rather than pricing.

We also looked into Sophos.

The company may be interested in trying to change to FireEye. I'm looking at it now to see what differences and advantages are at play. 

We also looked at Kaspersky. 

We spent a long time reviewing the marketplace and comparison sites however, we did not test anything.

We looked at firewalls from Fortinet and Barracuda. We even brought guys here to test their solutions, but they were no match for Check Point. We are comfortable now with Check Point.

Check Point Harmony Endpoint does not have some features that SentinelOne or CloudStrike has.

We did not evaluate other options.

We only evaluated Check Point and Sophos. There are only two really good cybersecurity solutions locally. You are either doing Sophos or Check Point. It is one or the other.

Symantec is expensive so we did not go for it. Many solutions are equally good, you could go for any of them. Check Point offered competitive pricing and additional features. Symantec may be suitable for certain applications and certain data centers. But what we found over a period of time Check Point suits our purpose.

We have more than 70 products related to security solutions and we are resellers of many of them.

We have evaluated Palo Alto, Trend Micro, and Kaspersky in the past.

We evaluated Symantec before selecting Check Point.

The company had this solution. I got put in charge of it, so it was already in place. I decided to keep it.

We did not consider any other vendors during the evaluation process.

We did have a look at some other options like Symantec and McAfee. We found that the anti-ransomware component on the Check Point was better than the competitors.
