We did the implementation ourselves and are happy that we are able to protect our own devices (used in business) and for customers. The good part is there are lots of techno-functional documents available on their site which gives enough pragmatic exposers for technologies to understand its near-to-perfect deployment plus your past experience should kick in.

For the deployment process, you basically create your account in the Harmony Mobile portal (Infiniti Portal on Check Point).
Then, you configure the user and send them an email containing a QR code for app installation instructions. They download the app from the App Store or Play Store, scan the code, and it configures itself, appearing on the cloud portal. Very quick.

We didn't use any third-party. We had a demo and we were shown how straightforward it was. It started off from that demo and moved straight into production. They gave us use of it for a period of time. We looked at it, played around with it, and that eventually became our production environment. It wasn't a scenario where we had to engage Professional Services.
Initially, there were about five people from our side involved in the deployment, but it ended up coming down to two to three people.
For maintenance of the solution I have three people who are all IT security specialists.
View full review »I do it myself from the office. I don't need an assistant from Check Point or anyone else. I just need to read the documentation. I can download the documentation from their website, which contains the information for installation and troubleshooting.
The maintenance can be done from the tenants in the cloud. You can do the updates and patching of the product in the portal.

We implemented through Check Point directly for the POC and then continued with licenses. The setup with Check Point went great and we were very happy to have that level of expertise on hand. Their solutions engineers are top-notch and we were very pleased.
