What do you think of WatchGuard XTM?

Valuable Features Blacklist IP addresses of "hackers", SNMP status monitoring and the Central Management Software. • Improvements to My Organization Because of the high throughput, we created multiple LAN segments. This reduced the broadcast and the improved the security in traffic monitoring. • Room for Improvement It's a fine product, but some features like the max bandwidth don't work well. What do you think of pfSense?

pfSense has been a perfect fit for my small business needs. It is economical (i.e., free), yet powerful, flexible, and intuitive. Its features rival many of the high cost solutions out there. The GUI could use improvements, though it is manageable.

How has it helped my organization?

Monitoring using SmartConsole and all its features is extremely easy, and I find SmartEvent an excellent monitoring tool for spotting threats and user behaviour.

What needs improvement?

We have Microsoft CASB cloud app security and it's one of the least compatible firewalls. They really need to look at this, as both Check Point and Microsoft are major players. Why aren't they compatible? If we had Palo Alto then we wouldn't... more»
