We use Cisco Prime for managing and monitoring the Cisco network.

Cisco Prime is used to monitor and manage network devices like switches, WLPs, and wireless access points. For example, if I have a building with four floors, I can all the access points and sitemap to Cisco Prime, so the next engineer who is working when I'm not available has a clear picture of how the site is configured. There's no need to physically go to the site. He can test everything remotely. 

I work for a telecom company on the network service delivery team, and 1,000 engineers on my team use Cisco Prime. There are different teams like monitoring, LAN, wireless, etc. About 10 percent of engineers in my organization use Cisco Prime.

Our company uses the solution to conduct remote operations or troubleshoot issues. 

For one use case, we used the solution to conduct bulk configurations. We created a server template and pushed it to devices instead of configuring them individually. The solution is particularly helpful for large-scale deployments and bulk processing. 

For another use case, our customer raised tickets related to slow or disconnected wireless service. We utilized the last month's logs to find when the issue started occurring and troubleshoot potential causes such as signal strength or roaming issues. 

Our company uses the solution for management of complex configurations, archiving routes and switches, and monitoring wireless connections. Our team of seven administrators serve as system integrators for our clients and currently manage more than 1,000 sites. 

Our primary use case for this solution is for network monitoring and conducting upgrades and we can manage devices in the network. Additionally, we deploy this solution on-premises.

We are planning to move to DNA Center, but we have legacy devices and near versions of devices that support Cisco DNA Center. We run both, but for DNA Center, we don't rely on it. In the future, when Cisco moves all of its device's DNA platforms, we will move from Cisco Prime to Cisco DNA Center.

Predominantly we have been using Cisco Prime to manage the wireless infrastructure for our enterprise customers. We also use it for pulling critical reports, monitoring alerts, and managing all the configurations of the wireless portfolio.

We use Cisco Prime for managing the switches and wireless.

We use this solution to troubleshoot our wireless systems, specifically regarding signal strength. We have 10 users and 5 admins for maintenance of this solution. 

We use Prime to manage all our Cisco products like wireless controllers, access points, switches, etc.

Our main use cases are for device management as well as for wireless monitoring. I'm an account service delivery manager and we have a gold partnership with Cisco.

Our primary use case for this solution is Assurance. It helps us manage and monitor analytics and fix issues such as poor voice quality. We can investigate by fetching reports and real-time alert generation for VoIP infrastructure. For example, suppose there is latency during calls, it can be immediately alerted to take immediate action before we investigate the deeper issue.

We use Cisco Prime mainly to monitor and double-check if all access points are working correctly and in the correct places that they are intended to be. Additionally, we check the heat maps of the coverage of the wifi signal to see if it is the appropriate coverage.

We use the solution as a monitoring tool for management and configuration.

I use Cisco Prime to check the interfaces and links and generate reports. I use the solution to see which locations are down.

I primarily offer this solution to my clients. It is really helpful, for example, for monitoring the access point condition of my clients' devices.

I use Cisco Prime to work with VLANs, especially the VLANs that function in my daily business. I deploy security updates, iOS configurations, and configs on the access layer, routers, and switches. I also use reports to troubleshoot problems.

We use it primarily for managing the wireless infrastructure, which is the use case in our current scenario.

We use Cisco Prime to manage all of the wireless infrastructure in our stores and campus distribution centers. In our distribution centers we also monitor switches so we can do rogue AP detection. I'm the IT wireless manager and we are customers of Cisco Prime.

We primarily use the solution for wireless and to do backups on switches and routers. In addition, we're using it for the deployment of our new software versions.

We use the solution to control the physical service station that is part of the SCADA network. We connect and control them remotely. 

Cisco Prime helps us manage and monitor our network treatment, such as switches, routers, and firewalls. We can see when a module fails, and even push configuration. This is especially helpful when managing a large network of switches, as manual configuration would be difficult.

Cisco Prime provides us with a convenient way of deploying a configuration template to all switches in the network simultaneously. This makes managing a large number of switches much easier and saves time. Additionally, if our network is relatively small, we can use Prime to manage switch logs without the need to purchase additional hardware or software. The solution also has the capability for NetFlow.

We use it for Infrastructure Hyperion to support the financial and strategic planning processes and for remote device configuration. When we perform network repairs and upgrades, we need to implement modernization procedures and methods.

We use Cisco Prime for network management, ensuring our network's performance and security. It also helps with project execution and project monitoring.

We use Cisco Prime for managing calls for the company. We are only at the beginning of using the solution.

We use Cisco Prime to manage and monitor our banking app devices and other wireless devices.

Within our company, there are seven employees that use this solution. We have plans to increase our usage of this product. 

This solution is being used for managing Cisco access points and managing network switches.

Prime is geared towards medium and enterprise size companies and that's where we deploy it. I don't think it's a suitable solution for small companies. We've used the product for several projects, providing solutions to our customers and managing it for them. We've  been dealing with Cisco for the past 10 years. One of our current projects is with one of the leading hospitals here. We are premier partners and we also resell Cisco products. I'm an IT specialist.
