What do you think of SolarWinds Netflow Traffic Analyzer?

As networks get busier, they also tend to get slower. Trends like increased use of cloud services, bring-your-own-device (BYOD), video and VOIP all create incremental stress and pressure on the network. BYOD can also introduce challenges like increased use of photo and video sharing, and peer-to-peer traffic. Upgrading networks can be very costly, and usually is only a short-term fix. One solution: NetFlow Many administrators turn to NetFlow analysis to help identify not just what kind of traffic is flowing on the network, but also top devices creating the traffic. This allows them to take action to manage excessive bandwidth consumption, possibly saving money on expensive upgrades. I'd like it if they'd have implemented some sort of SNMP auto-discovery.

Like any other Open Source product, you can spend some money on support, but the product itself is free of charge.
