We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:
"The handwriting recognition is very good, as it can recognize handwriting done with pen and paper with at least 70% accuracy."
"It's a very useful and user-friendly product."
"The most valuable feature is the ability to capture data from documents with different formats."
"The machine learning capability is pretty good."
"The most valuable feature is the ability to scale for big processes. We are able to process 1 million pages a day. Its accuracy is also very nice. It is a good feature that they have. It is an independent platform, which is its biggest advantage as compared to other solutions. It is also very stable and powerful. It is 100% on time."
"The most valuable features have been the rate of recognition and the structured documents."
"It saves us a lot of manual work."
"Identifies and extract relevant elements from a document."
"We really like the Orchestrator and how I'm able to see what's going on with all of the different automations."
"The Orchestrator is great because you schedule it, and that's it, you don't have to worry about it."
"I like Orchestrator and how easy it is to manipulate and get your data, to see what's going on."
"The software itself is relatively straightforward and easy to use."
"I think the most valuable feature is being able to run processes in an unattended way where we can schedule them, and then have the report sent to the process owner's inbox in the morning."
"The main value within Orchestrator is definitely the scheduling aspect. That includes the way you can prioritize work and use queuing systems to make sure they're at the right points in time, as well as whether they'd be long term related, especially if we're looking at finance."
"All of the features are valuable. I think the best feature for Russian government customers is security. Security in Orchestration for requiring credentials. Our customer are usually serious about security."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is the unattended robots because I can schedule my jobs and it can run on its own."
"In the future, I would like to see integration with Google Sheets."
"Not a ten because sometimes some documents have handwritten data. If this improved, I would rate it a ten out of ten."
"The is a long time between application updates."
"Quite complex, particularly for those who are not tech savvy."
"They should improve the RESTful API side of this solution. Currently, fully RESTful API is not available in the on-prem version, which is really a problem, and we have to work around this limitation. The cloud version already has a fully RESTful API, but the on-prem version doesn't have a fully RESTful API, which is a big mistake. It is easy to solve, but they aren't solving it quicker. They are taking a long time. Nowadays, most people don't go to the interface. They like to use RESTful API."
"The recognition intelligence could improve by having more details in the documents. There are limitations with the forms, templates, and manuscripts."
"Even though the training works, it's not as good as it is made out to be."
"Machine learning needs to be improved."
"On the development side, more documentation on how to structure the setup for different environments would be helpful."
"We had some issues with instability for which we were never able to determine the root cause."
"One of the things we're struggling with it how to project how many robots we need to do these processes, so better documentation or assistance in this regard would be useful."
"Enhanced capability in the document management space would be a huge benefit to our organization."
"I would like to see a biweekly scheduling option in Orchestrator."
"One of the issues is with the acquisition of new types of software and new companies. It's important to introduce process documentation and make sure that it's not just making it look like UiPath products, but making it feel and act like one to us. They need to make sure it's embedded and the integration is seamless. They should just keep improving how easy it is to use. I think it's very good already, but there's always room for improvement."
"I would like to see more AI features with data classification and computer reason. I think it would be great to have more features in full monitoring robots."
"We sometimes struggle trying to figure out what kind of a bot we need to use for what kind of work, and it would be nice to have more clarity on this."
"For us, the price is reasonable."
"The price of this ABBYY FlexiCapture is a bit expensive and the price is based on how many documents have been captured. For example, one or two million captures."
"Its price is a little bit high and can be lower. Its licensing is very expensive. I don't remember exactly, but for each page, it is about four or seven cents, which is too expensive."
"Most of our customers have purchased an annual license and if you have multiple developers from other companies, you can assign the license on a monthly basis to developers."
"It is expensive as compared to UiPath. We pay for the licensing and the page count."
"It is more on the reasonable side as compared to the competition that I am aware of. I'm not an expert on pricing schemes for all sorts of things, but when we offer them a solution, we like to say we're agnostic. So, we offer more than one solution when possible. Amongst the ones that we've offered, ABBYY usually is the more reasonable solution on a big scale. On a small scale, they're all pretty similar. As far as I understand, you pay a license for a number of pages, and that's pretty much it. It has just the rate per page, and it decreases as you scale."
"Its price should be a little lower. It is a lot higher than the competition, and if they just break the gap a little, then more people might jump onto their product. Their price is definitely a deterrent in the few cases that I remember. They have monthly and yearly options, and if you want, they also have per project and per page options. They do charge extra for different types of installation. They have the standalone, which is pretty straightforward and a lot cheaper than the server installation. Server installation gives you a lot more, and it gives you control over the environment."
"With respect to the cost, you're going to recognize the savings immediately for the cost of the tool."
"It's the same as what you would see on any of their list prices. There is also a corporate discount because of scale. Overall, we think it was a competitive price offering. They were the cheapest out of the three, so that's why we went with them."
"The licensing costs for the unattended bots are a little too expensive."
"I can estimate our licensing costs are approximately $100,000 USD per year."
"We got purchased the basic minimum package and it was around $35,000 USD, annually."
"Because we have so many agents, that's why we went unattended. Attended was very expensive for us because it's a per person license. Where we can take entire workflows, do the triggering and scheduling, etc. We never have to have any human interaction with unattended."
"We have a cost model for operating expense savings. It is usually about $100,000 to $125,000 and takes us six weeks to develop and implement. That's development, testing, and implementation. We do code reviews on everything. That does not include all the documentation, assessment, etc."
"There are cheaper options than UiPath."
