"This solution is very easy to use and customize, using almost zero coding. It's built on SharePoint which many companies in our country have experience with. This made it easy to adapt the application in our environment.""The workflow engine of K2 is its main strength. Its workflow engine is probably one of the best, and that's the reason why Nintex bought K2. It can clearly handle any complex process or scenario. K2 is almost low-code. It is a no-code or low-code solution. You don't have to read a whole lot of code. It is pretty much GUI based. Their support is also excellent. The biggest advantage of K2 is SmartObjects, which allow you to separate the data from the application. It is a standalone application that allows you to build a data source from different places, which a lot of other applications also do. It is called SmartObjects technology, which is pretty powerful. If I have data from different applications, such as JD and ServiceNow, I can just create a SmartObject based on a data source and use it. I have some forms that have six, seven, or eight applications in a single form with data from different places.""Easily maintained and customization is quite simple.""It is very easy to use events. K2 has useful tools.""It creates workflows to handle business processes. It allows us to route approvals to users without human intervention.""The latest version of Nintex has many features. We have a clear roadmap and the necessary application to integrate it into our platform.""I find it useful to utilize LDAP query action to find out the status of a particular user.""I think the initial setup is fine."

Cons
"The initial setup of medium complexity. So, there is room for improvement to make it better."

More ACI Worldwide Global Payments Hub Cons →

"I think it was lacking a little bit in its multiple in-house processes and other processes. So there is a little bit of a gap in collaboration.""We cannot use the same solution on cloud.""The management server and the admin page where you can manage processes need improvement.""It is very flexible because you can design your own main forms, but if there were some templates according to your market, it would be more useful for a new customer. That would make K2 more user friendly and easier to use.""We'd like to have integration with SharePoint.""K2's support for DevOp team corporations is weak.""Difficult to include external partners with the solution deployed on-premise.""The tool lacks to offer support for the Arabic language, and it needs consideration."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "I would rate the pricing a two out of ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive."
  • More ACI Worldwide Global Payments Hub Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "Nintex products are expensive, but valuable. Licensing in on-premise was historically based on a perpetual model, where you’d license per Web front-end. However, they are switching exclusively to a consumption (subscription) model, where you purchase the number of workflows you think you’ll use in your environment, and can scale up from there."
  • "Offering a licensing model that allows for multiple small workflows would be a huge improvement to an already great platform."
  • "Our maintenance costs are reduced."
  • "The annual support costs are expensive."
  • "Comparatively, it's expensive."
  • "We pay on a yearly basis. It's my understanding that we pay approximately $11,000/year."
  • "The initial investment in K2 is heavy. Currently, the expenditure is $28,000 for a year. After we go to the cloud, it is going to be per seat and probably cheaper. Currently, there are unlimited users."
  • "There is an initial fee when purchasing and a fee for maintenance afterward."
