Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"This solution supports multiple branches.""The way everything integrated well with everything else was most valuable. We had one solution for everything, from the first phone call down to follow-up visits for wholesale callers and for just regular purchases."

"One of the most useful features is we can configure Microsoft Dynamics CRM in the way that we need. This is configurable.""The most valuable features are the integration capabilities with other third-party software. It has an easy user interface and in terms of security, it has permission-based access for different users.""Microsoft Dynamics CRM has a very nice UI, and is very easy to use. It's easy to install, has a lot of features, and provides good technical support.""Right now we're using the financial features, and we haven't tried the inventory. It's useful more on the financial side.""The most valuable feature of Microsoft Dynamics CRM is the integration with Microsoft Office 365.""Multifeatured CRM software with good stability and scalability.""The most valuable feature is that because this solution uses the cloud, you only have to install it and allocate it to a user, making it quite easy to use.""The feature I like best in Microsoft Dynamics CRM is being able to market to segments instead of choosing individual people to market to."

Cons
"The solution doesn't have features to break down the structure for multiple people in the project.""We should be able to personalize it for the company. There should be more customization of the pages so that they seem more like a company rather than as an outside company. We should be able to change company images and things like that and do this kind of personalization.""For support, we go through a distributor, and the support we receive from them is much better than what we would from Acumatica directly. When we went to Acumatica support directly, we were not happy with it."

More Acumatica Cons →

"Microsoft Dynamics CRM could improve the built-in reports. The ones that are included are pretty generic unless you subscribe to Microsoft BI, which is an extra fee. They should offer the reports without having to purchase a separate subscription for Microsoft BI. However, the reports in Microsoft BI are fantastic.""The main issue with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is that its GUI isn't very attractive. Overall, the solution has the same functionalities as other CRMs such as Salesforce, but Salesforce is much simpler to use. Microsoft Dynamics CRM is complicated to use, and this is another area for improvement. It was also more difficult to set up the solution, so its setup could still be improved. What I'd like to see in the next version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a cleaner user interface because currently, it looks messy to me. Salesforce CRM has a better, more simplified user interface that makes it easier for you to get what you need, while in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, you have to put in a lot of effort to get things done.""There are more people using Salesforce. Therefore, there are more partners, and applications for it, and is easier to use.""It is difficult to qualify opportunity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.""I have contacted support. They are able to help but not in the right amount of time. I have had a horrible experience.""The setup with other email servers, other than Microsoft Outlook, could be improved. Alternatively, we'd like to have some feature that allows us to send emails directly from our inboxes to the CRM and assign it to a certain client.""They should work on improving the solution's scalability.""Sometimes Microsoft's support can be difficult to contact, and it can take a while to get a response to a ticket."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "It is very expensive for a small business. If you're a small business, it is not a very good solution in that aspect, but if you are big and have more manufacturing, it is well worth it. It comes with the ability to integrate with one website. We had to modify ours. We customized it so that we could do hundreds of websites. In Texas, I believe that we were the only one ever to be integrated with hundreds of websites. So, the development of our API probably cost us a hundred grand, and then there would be maintenance. That's all outside of the standard licensing fee."

  • "We have to buy a separate license in order to implement the social listening feature."
  • "It's kind of pricey. It's about $50 or $60 per user."
  • "I am not the person who pays for Microsoft Dynamics CRM but it is expensive. I have been using Microsoft Azure, which Microsoft Dynamics CRM is built on, and I know we prepaid for the services. For me as a consumer, I do not think I can afford it, mainly because I am only learning how to use the AI and the rate which they charge is high. In general, Microsoft solutions are expensive and this is most likely due to the brand, this is something you expect. However, the price might be high but you receive a highly secure solution."
  • "There is a license required to use Microsoft Dynamics CRM."
  • "The price of the solution is good but could be cheaper."
  • "We have a three-year ELA with all our Microsoft solutions and often we had to do a true-up which was approximately $1,000,000. Additionally, we pay approximately $2,500 a month for support."
  • "Pricing for this software could be cheaper."
  • "The solution is open source and is free. However, it does require a Dynamics 365 subscription."
