Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"This solution supports multiple branches.""The way everything integrated well with everything else was most valuable. We had one solution for everything, from the first phone call down to follow-up visits for wholesale callers and for just regular purchases."

More Acumatica Pros →

"It's integrated into everything well so you can navigate and use it in a very simple way.""The user interface is very good.""The most valuable aspect of NetSuite ERP is the multi-subsidiary portion, it is the strongest across all the other ERPs. If you want to do consolidations, it works a lot better than other tools.""It offers reporting flexibilities that were previously unavailable to us.""We use it for the projects we do in the telecom industry.""The initial setup is easy.""I like the ease of setup and customization of forms.""I am impressed with the product's ease of use. It also helps us reduce the techstack."

Cons
"We should be able to personalize it for the company. There should be more customization of the pages so that they seem more like a company rather than as an outside company. We should be able to change company images and things like that and do this kind of personalization.""For support, we go through a distributor, and the support we receive from them is much better than what we would from Acumatica directly. When we went to Acumatica support directly, we were not happy with it.""The solution doesn't have features to break down the structure for multiple people in the project."

More Acumatica Cons →

"Many features such as local taxation and fund management are not there yet.""In terms of the main improvement to NetSuite is the talent itself. It's grown so fast and there are about 25,000 companies running on it, and it's a relatively newer system compared to other competitors. It's growing so fast that the talent base in the partner organization (there's about 200 of them), is pretty thin.""The product should improve its warehouse management solution.""NetSuite is good for data management, but it's missing payroll features.""As with any system offering large volumes of data, there are limitations on processing large volumes of data in custom ways.""Improvement-wise, it should be more customizable. Currently, you can't enhance the product yourself in terms of development for any applications unless you've got a very strong and big development team. Those are the skills that are in very short supply.""NetSuite ERP's UI could be improved. There are some features that are very complex that do not have to be. There are some aspects of the solution that could be simplified and this can include the documentation. Since it's a very complex tool, you expect to have great detailed documentation to help you implement it.""There is a lot of room for improvement. Multiple manufacturing features need to be updated on NetSuite. More functionalities need to be added. I think there are a lot of functionalities coming out for warehouse management systems and manufacturing automation via advanced manufacturing functionalities. I think they need to improve a little more on those aspects and make it easier on the scheduling aspect."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "It is very expensive for a small business. If you're a small business, it is not a very good solution in that aspect, but if you are big and have more manufacturing, it is well worth it. It comes with the ability to integrate with one website. We had to modify ours. We customized it so that we could do hundreds of websites. In Texas, I believe that we were the only one ever to be integrated with hundreds of websites. So, the development of our API probably cost us a hundred grand, and then there would be maintenance. That's all outside of the standard licensing fee."
  • More Acumatica Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "I would advise that you first meet with and scope out your project with a NetSuite VAR (Value Added Reseller)."
  • "When people buy ERP, it's a competitive situation and the pricing is paramount."
  • "It is completely on a subscription basis. We pay yearly and, and you do not have to do anything on a monthly basis. Prices depend on the organization's scale and all those things, but they are doing a good job with the pricing."
  • "There is an annual license required to use this solution."
  • "The price of the solution is quite high."
  • "NetSuite ERP has a cost per module you want to use, and then you have the license per user."
  • "Pricing for NetSuite ERP is okay, but it could be better. The licensing model for NetSuite ERP is based on the number of modules and users. The standard license covers up to twenty-five users. If you have more than twenty-five users, you'll have to buy the premium license, which would double the price. For one module with five user licenses, the cost is between $40,000 to $50,000."
  • "It's very competitively priced due to it being a subscription model. So, clients are quite happy with the pricing. I would rate it an eight out of ten in terms of pricing."
