We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The product has valuable communication features. It also has good performance and stability.""The most critical feature is the POA, but Breakout sessions are definitely my favorite.""The solution can scale well.""It is straightforward to set up.""I like Adobe Connect because of its flexibility.""It trains providers for on-premise deployment in several locations.""Screen share and document share are good features."

"There have been a couple of times with the handy remote access feature, where I have been asked for something at eight o'clock on a Thursday evening and it is on my desk machine, but I am driving back to my office. With TeamViewer, I can just stay at my home machine, connect to my work machine, and get the data needed without having to drive back across town.""I have been satisfied with TeamViewer overall.""The pilot feature is what stands out the most. I love the ability to use the pilot feature for remote inspections. The augmented portion of the software comes in handy when I have to assist my inspectors. They use the app in the field, and they show me what they're seeing through their phones.""I am satisfied with TeamViewer, and its performance.""The product is easy to install.""The most valuable features of TeamViewer are the ease of connecting to remote computers. I do not need a lot of information about their computers to connect, a nontechnical person can give me the information needed for me to connect. Additionally, the solution does not gather other system information about the host or client's systems as other solutions might, such as AnyDesk.""Ease of use was the number-one thing. It's an industry leader for ease of use, specifically on the client-side, which is the absolutely critical thing. If I want to connect to somebody, how easily can I — without seeing their computer — walk them through the steps to install it to a point where I can key in the code and help them resolve their situation?... TeamViewer is just a dead-solid, easy answer.""It's a user-friendly product."

Cons
"It needs faster and easier upgrades.""The price is a problem.""We would like to see support for exportable files that have been uploaded into Adobe Connect as templates for activities.""Interface and layout options could be improved.""Adobe's products are difficult to grasp.""We encounter issues while connecting headphones via Bluetooth. This particular area needs improvement.""Other solutions have more marketing and more visibility. Nobody knows Adobe Connect exists."

More Adobe Connect Cons →

"One thing I have noticed is that TeamViewer does not work so well when the machine you are trying to connect to remotely is not running the same version as your machine.""The solution could improve by increasing or removing the time limitation on the use of a session.""The product can sometimes crash.""TeamViewer has a legacy and may not be using the latest UI trends.""The file transfer functionality crashes sometimes.""TeamViewer can improve by making the interface more user-friendly. It looks very basic, they can make it more modern and easy to use.""It's pretty limited on the options they have.""There is a paid version of this solution with more features available. However, they should provide more free features to the user, such as factor authentication."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The purchasing process is complicated. It would be beneficial if it were more simplified."
  • "Adobe Connect is free of cost."
  • More Adobe Connect Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "TeamViewer pricing is reasonable... The simultaneous controller licensing model of TeamViewer - compared to LogMeIn’s controlled Host licensing model - seems to benefit us so far. We’re currently saving about 30 percent on licensing cost... The savings from licensing have been eaten up by the soft costs involved in dealing with and working around TeamViewer’s deficiencies in allowing granular control by multiple controllers, and the issues with the various settings that are missing on the macOS Host."
  • "The cost of the licenses depends on how you buy them. They just had a buy one get one free deal going, and they do that every once in a while. Where you buy one license, and they will give you the second one free, or you can try to get discounts. Most of our licenses that we have we tried to do something like that just to save some money."
  • "It has probably saved us several thousands of dollars because we have quick access anywhere. We don't have to worry about finding people onsite or arranging conference calls. We also save time and money with it because we don't have to send somebody onsite to troubleshoot."
  • "TeamViewer offers a free version to try. Download and give it a shot. See what it's like and if you like it, then buy the license for it."
  • "...it will cost you $1,500 to $1,600 a year, but when I think of how much work I do through TeamViewer..."
  • "It does what I need it to do but I think it's expensive. It wasn't easy for me to get approval from the company to get it... It's costing us about $700 a year, per license."
  • "TeamViewer is $600 or $700 per port per year..."
  • "The cost is in the thousands of dollars per year."
