We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

"Customer service is great.""The heat maps are quite good, and some features are easy to use.""The most valuable features are the survey, spectrum analysis, and reporting."

"The most valuable feature of this solution is the application visibility, which is one of the main features.""I really don't have any problems with the stability of the product.""It is easy to set up. You can do everything on the GUI. You don't need to trace cables. You don't need to connect to the switch. Everything is there, right in front of you.""I have found it to be stable.""The most valuable features are the multiple types of user groupings and access management.""Great architecturally based dashboard and the solution is accessible from anywhere.""The emailing of statuses is the most valuable feature.""The ability to manage it remotely is the most valuable. If it has an internet connection, you can get to it. It is a great product for remote clinics. We kind of thought about doing this kind of standalone technology. Meraki is easy to manage. From a management perspective, it is the easiest to use, especially in the cloud. I like Meraki. I even have it in my home."

"It'd be nice if it was cheaper, however, you get value for your money.""The throughput should be more advanced in the future. They need to add more versions of WiFi than just one.""The surveying features are in need of improvement, along with general usability."

More AirMagnet Survey Cons »

"Its price should be reduced.""The biggest pain point is that they limit you through firewall throughput. I understand why they do it, but that really grates me. For instance, for 450 Mbps throughput, you're looking at £800 for a router, whereas if you look at the one gig connection, for some of us are lucky enough to have a gig connection, you could almost be spending £3,000 for the option to have one gig connectivity. That's one of the pain points I've got. I don't mind paying for throughput, but I should at least have the option to be able to update that throughput, maybe through extra licensing or something else. It is crazy expensive to jump through to the next one.""The solution should be more secure.""Meraki is still very much a small office type of solution. It is not a fit for large enterprise networks, as it doesn't have tunneling functionalities.""Currently, only a limited number of clients can connect to these devices.""It would be nice to have licensing that stays in place while the system is being renovated or changed.""The user interface needs to be improved.""The customization needs to be improved because it's pretty locked down."

"It's not super expensive and it's not super cheap.""As is always the case, the price could be better, although I do not recall exactly how much this comes out to.""The cost is not so much for Wireless LAN, but when you have to get the security license, it costs a lot.""It is expensive.""The price of the product could be cheaper.""I would say that they have adequate pricing.""The pricing is based on a subscription and is a bit high at the moment.""The price is on the high side when compared to Aruba."
