Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"When we met with the Alemba vFire from Australia, it was a good discussion and they have a good feature roadmap.""Incident Management is the most valuable feature of the solution.""The workflow is very good, as well as customizable."

More Alemba vFire Pros →

"A very convenient package like an all-in-one tool but it is actually five or six products acting well together.""It is one of the most stable solutions in the market.""It is a simple solution that is easy to configure.""The solution is quite easy to integrate with other Microsoft products.""This product has helped our organization by allowing people to connect with each other.""This solution is easy to use.""The remote access is one of the features I really enjoy. The pushing of email updates and things like that are very good.""Many more features than other comparable products."

Cons
"We had issues with the user interface, the way it was structured wasn't that user-friendly. The chat features could improve. For example, in change management, all the chat discussions can be done via ServiceNow. We are using two separate solutions, such as Teams, to chat, and the Alemba vFire tool to process.""The reporting needs to be improved.""The product should improve its ability to integrate with third-party tools."

More Alemba vFire Cons →

"The product needs to improve its integration with other tools. It also needs to have a better UI and a simple dashboard.""There is no development with this product, and we had to go and buy additional ITSM solutions to sit on top of it. We had to buy products from companies like Cireson and Cased Dimensions in order to get the functionality that we need out of it. So, we're using Service Manager as an engine, rather than as a full-blown product. It is the engine, but we have other products sitting on top of it to make it work properly.""The solution could be more simple. For example, it takes a lot of work to create reports. It runs on Microsoft SQL queries. Creating custom reports on ManageEngine takes less work from the administrator.""The price of this solution is high and it needs to be cheaper.""I have found SCSM not adequate enough to carry out some functions.""It crashes our client's computers. Sometimes they get blue screens. It would be useful if SCSM could check the upgrades or patches before we implemented them to see if they are going to crash a client's system. Or, if it does install, and the client's system crashes, it would be good if the solution could revert back somehow.""The user interface needs to be improved.""The patch management aspect of the solution should be improved. It's quite complicated and not user-friendly. If your systems are not patched properly, you are unable to pull reports."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "Alemba vFire is more affordable than the other solutions on the market. The solution changes for the number of customers not per user or module. The price was reasonable overall. We paid for support and it was a fair price."
  • "The product is much cheaper than ServiceNow."
  • More Alemba vFire Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "It is a lower price vs. other things on the market."
  • "It is an expensive solution."
  • "Licensing can be complex and confusing."
  • "The price should be lower."
  • "The price of the solution could be better. My organization has an enterprise annual license with Microsoft which provides us support."
  • "It comes free with the enterprise agreement that we have, but the expense really is in having to buy another product to sit on top of it to make it work properly. You wind up having to buy additional support and additional product with their own support and maintenance costs on top of that."
  • "The license for SCSM is cheap."
  • "I would rate the pricing as two out of five."
