We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"One-stop shop for data preparation, blending, prediction, and optimization in a single workflow.""The feature that I have found most valuable for Alteryx is its geo-referencing feature, it is very good. I use it a lot, especially for supply chain.""The drag-and-drop functionality, the ready-to-use analytics module, and the ability to track my data pipelines visually are the solution's most valuable features.""The product is very stable and super fast, five-star. It's significantly more stable than it's nearest competitor.""It's super easy to learn how to use it — the learning curve is very small.""The solution has excellent drag and drop functionality. There's no need for coding.""The most valuable feature is user-friendliness, as Alteryx can be used by those without any coding experience or experienced data scientists as it has the functionality to embed R and Python scripts.""It allows for manipulation and automation, which has greatly reduced the amount of time required per project."

Cons
"The price of the solution could improve by being lower.""Alteryx can improve in data science. They have to have more features and components in the data science aspect because they claim to be a data science tool. However, in order to be more competitive, they have to improve on their data science propositions. Thre are other solutions on the market, such as other players in the market, Data2Go or DataIQ, and Alteryx needs to catch up.""They should make the solution user-friendly for nontechnical people by giving specific names to the options.""The learning curve is long, and there is lack of e-learning; the tool is not user-friendly to a non-technical user.""The server is too expensive for what you get and it really a designer desktop on a server.""Sometimes, there are performance constraints. Especially when a large file has to be ingested, the system slows down a bit. Its performance is the only thing that can be improved.""It should have Linux support. It currently supports only Windows. It does not support any other platform. Its price should also be lower. Their US partner management program is actually unresponsive. One of the reasons why we don't have a formalized partnership plan with them is because their partner management team is atrociously unresponsive. This is something that they need to change.""From a commercial standpoint, more options should be available for pricing. The licensing model needs to be specific."

"The improvements, in my opinion, have to be done in the infrastructure of the Red Hat Satellite, it is very complex.""Sometimes, the product has outages that affect the site's ability."
