We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Alteryx makes it easy for the end customer to see clean data in a structured form.""Alteryx effectively visualizes the flow of data and what happens at each stage. I also like that it's a no-code solution. I also like that you can troubleshoot certain parts of the workflow by putting them in a sandbox.""It is efficient in optimizing our ability to get information.""The three data signs and data engineering are great features.""The initial setup is easy.""The drag-and-drop functionality, the ready-to-use analytics module, and the ability to track my data pipelines visually are the solution's most valuable features.""One-stop shop for data preparation, blending, prediction, and optimization in a single workflow.""All of the data science features in terms of unioning and joining data together are valuable."

"It is able to create information dashboards for various users' throughout.""It reduces time to reproduce reports, provides easy access to organisational data, and has the ability to generate a wide range of reports and analysis.""It is a central source of up-to-date data and information."

Cons
"The solution just lacks in terms of data visualization. That is why we use Tableau and Qlik in our organization. They help to pick up the slack. If data visualization was added, Alteryx would be a very good tool, and much more complete.""The gallery could improve in Alteryx. Additionally, if there was a Conditional Join feature it would be beneficial. Since I do not have this feature I have to use Python scripts.""The formula we currently use in Alteryx can be automated.""It would be great if Alteryx could take third party tools and incorporate them.""It is a little bit pricey.""The solution is improving continuously. They have, for example, just added automatic insights. If they continue to improve on their overall service offering, that would be ideal.""It should have Linux support. It currently supports only Windows. It does not support any other platform. Its price should also be lower. Their US partner management program is actually unresponsive. One of the reasons why we don't have a formalized partnership plan with them is because their partner management team is atrociously unresponsive. This is something that they need to change.""It's a technical product and those that don't have proper training will have to deal with a steep learning curve."
