We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The solution provides big space that is reasonably priced.""The most important feature is the volume types in those hundred EDS. For example, if you need a volume with high IOPS, you should choose an io2 or io2 Block Express volume type. The default volume type for EBS is GP3, which is a good balance of performance and price for most workloads.""The most valuable features of Amazon EBS are the ease of mounting any file system and good for block storage. We can use secondary storage for our difficult instances and it performs well.""The durability and snapshot capabilities are good.""The most valuable feature is its scalability. I can easily scale the block from terabytes to gigabytes.""The most valuable feature of Amazon EBS (Elastic Block Store) is its scalability.""Amazon EBS is a storage system, and the storage is attached to the servers.""The product's initial setup phase was easy to manage."

Cons
"The initial setup process is easy.""The initial setup is not easy.""It would be good if the solution added a button to increase the size and make the EC2 machine recognize the increased capacity of the EBS.""Amazon EBS needs to improve its user interface for data transactions.""The cost of using EBS is high compared to other cloud vendors such as Tencent Cloud or CARI Cloud. Some costs are generated immediately and some are likely to increase.""I think performance can be improved.""The setup could be easier.""In Amazon EBS, it is difficult to reduce the space chosen by the customer. The cost increases the moment the size of the storage increases, and I will have to pay for two TB of the tool instead of one TB."

    Overview

Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS) provides persistent block level storage volumes for use with Amazon EC2 instances in the AWS Cloud.  Each Amazon EBS volume is automatically replicated within its Availability Zone to protect you from component failure, offering high availability and durability. Amazon EBS volumes offer the consistent and low-latency performance needed to run your workloads. With Amazon EBS, you can scale your usage up or down within minutes – all while paying a low price for only what you provision.

Amazon Glacier is a secure, durable, and extremely low-cost cloud storage service for data archiving and long-term backup. Customers can reliably store large or small amounts of data for as little as $0.007 per gigabyte per month, a significant savings compared to on-premises solutions. To keep costs low, Amazon Glacier is optimized for infrequently accessed data where a retrieval time of several hours is suitable.
