Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"What I like the most about Amazon Step Functions is how easy it is to use.""One can rate all the calls and that is a good feature.""It is a scalable solution.""The solution is stable...The solution is easy to scale.""It's Amazon, it's scalable.""It's a general solution that you can adapt to your own needs and is simple to use. We like that it can be integrated with everything in the AWS suite, and that the creation of the pipeline can be done using the graphical user interface.""AWS Step Functions acts as a high-level layer, allowing us to seamlessly integrate with microservices.""The number of historical events is great."

"This is a free solution that allows us to create quality visualizations for our company.""The most beneficial features of Bizagi for our business processes are its seamless connectivity between process elements and its ability to automate tasks and perform simulations.""Bizagi is simple. It's simple to learn.""Great software for managing my business. I think this is the best business process management software.""The most valuable feature is that it is compatible with Visual Studio and .NET, and we can program it. Its speed is very good, and it is also stable and easy to deploy.""In Bizagi, all of the features are valuable.""Bizagi is a very useful tool because it does not require you to program. The user logic is very easy to understand even for people who are not engineers or developers.""The solution offers a free version of their product."

Cons
"It is hard to coordinate the declaratory language.""The price and support are areas with shortcomings where the solution needs to improve.""It wasn't easy to understand the licensing model. It's like if you use just a little, it's cheap, but it becomes more expensive as you use more. It's like a hook that ties you inside the Amazon ecosystem. So, it creates a dependency.""I would like to see more data transformation features in Amazon Step Functions like additional operators and logic.""Setup took about one day. We had some errors to understand in the beginning, but now everything is working good.""The pricing of the solution can be improved.""The interface can sometimes feel limited, as we're unable to see what AWS is running behind the scenes.""The solution's data size limit can be improved."

More AWS Step Functions Cons →

"Its price can be improved. The price is high for the application as well as for maintaining and developing applications. When you develop, for example, a BPM, you need to pay a lot for Bizagi.""The product used to have a simulation feature, which I had used quite often. However, it's since been discontinued. It might have originally been a paid feature. It would be nice if they could bring it back and offer it for free.""For the small business, this is very bad because it is still fragmented. The licensing policy should be more flexible and small company oriented. In micro-small companies, there should only be one or two. That's not the problem. Maybe it is too flexible, there are so many pieces that you need to put together. When you have a small business, it can be a little complicated, not so easy.""The tool is expensive and it should improve its pricing.""The free version could be better. Some of the templates and all the functionalities aren't available in the free version. I've been trying to check some maps, for example, organizational maps or a model on organization hierarchy. Apparently, there seems to be no template. You have to create your own. I am not sure if there are templates, but I've not really seen any. I think that there's room for improvement.""The solution needs to make it easier to use RPA products on it. They may need an RPA specific interface. It would be better than having to make an RPA tool to use for viewing. Most of our work is about making RPA tools with the Bizagi, not using Bizagi itself.""It needs an easier setup for the Bizagi Engine.""Also, the tool sometimes feels not so mature when we find random deploy errors from testing to production environment."

    Overview

AWS Step Functions lets you coordinate multiple AWS services into serverless workflows so you can build and update apps quickly. Using Step Functions, you can design and run workflows that stitch together services such as AWS Lambda and Amazon ECS into feature-rich applications. Workflows are made up of a series of steps, with the output of one step acting as input into the next. Application development is simpler and more intuitive using Step Functions, because it translates your workflow into a state machine diagram that is easy to understand, easy to explain to others, and easy to change. You can monitor each step of execution as it happens, which means you can identify and fix problems quickly. Step Functions automatically triggers and tracks each step, and retries when there are errors, so your application executes in order and as expected.
