Quotes From Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
"Ansible provides great reliability when coupled with a versioning system (git). It helps providing predictability to the network by knowing exactly what's being pushed after validating it in production.""It has improved our organization through provisioning and security hardening. When we do get a new VM, we have been able to bring on a provisioned machine in less than a day. This morning alone, I provisioned two machines within an hour. I am talking about hardening, installing antivirus software on it, and creating user accounts because the Playbooks were predesigned. From the time we got the servers to the actual hand-off, it takes less than an hour. We are talking about having the servers actually authenticate Red Hat Satellites and run the yum updates. All of that can be done within an hour."

"This product is quite easy to install, learn, and use, with our new employees being able to start using it in projects for clients after only two weeks of internal training.""The interface is simple, user-friendly, and very intuitive.""The most valuable feature is the drag-and-drop interface, which is very Windows-like.""The most valuable features for my client are timing and scheduling.""The licensing of the product is very good. You only need to license it once and then you have it forever.""I actually quite liked the no-coding functionality.""The pricing is excellent. I would give them perfect marks in that regard.""The solution is continuously adding more integrations to help with workflows and bot and task creation."

Cons
"Accessibility. Ansible uses a CLI by default. Those accustomed to it can find their way and adopt the YAML files easily over time. But, some users are more comfortable using UIs...""When you set up Playbooks, I may have one version of the Playbook, but another member of the team may have a different vision, and we will not know which version is correct. We want to have one central repository for managing the different versions of Playbooks, so we can have better collaboration among team members. This is our use case for using Git version control."

"While this solution is continually improving, as it is now, the user interface could use improvement when I compare it to a product like UiPath.""The OCR for Hebrew text needs to be improved.""The vendor is currently working on a solution that allows us to automatically create a process that is based on a document that we receive via email.""They do not encrypt passwords, so this is an issue with HIPAA compliance.""The solution has a very weak knowledge base.""It's possible that they could use a stronger community for seeking guidance and help.""The technical support could be better. We suffer from language barriers, as we are in Argentina.""Some companies have asked for voice integration. This is likely part of the roadmap."

"Compared to other products, the pricing model for this solution is much more convenient, flexible, and adaptable to the Portuguese reality.""I like the way this solution is priced because you can buy a license, or you can buy the software outright.""It comes with a package that costs approximately $20,000 USD per year.""While solutions like UiPath and Blue Prism cost around $11,000-$12,000 for each license, this product costs around $7,000 and you can keep it forever."
